So far enjoying the phone. Pictures are great, and I'm having fun figuring out features. Battery lasts a long time, love it.

Amazing Videos

This phone is everything I expected coming from a pixel 4xl. I like the addition of the finger print reader, much more convenient when wearing a mask. But I do miss the face recognition.My greatest surprise was how amazing the videos look. Beautiful high resolution and butter smooth frame rate.I love the entire pixel line of phones and the pixel 5 does not disappoint.

Good...but not the 4xl

There are some shortcomings of this phone. It is very fast....I mean very fast. However, it is very small and feels kind of cheap. It needs motion back on it and "squeeze assistant", too. I am enjoying it, but it's too small for my hands. That's my biggest complaint. I really liked the size of the 4XL. Oh, facial recognition would be nice to have back.

New to the pixel line

Came from samsung to the pixel 5 recently and I'm pretty pleased. I like the size and feel of the pixel 5 and the battery is very solid too. My only complaint is the speaker under the glass is very weak. Listening to music is ok, but could be much much better. Hopefully on the next pixel the speakers are improved for people who listen to podcast and music through the phone. I am very happy i finally tried the pixel 5 and there's a really good chance my next phone with be another pixel.

Loving it so far, after being with Samsung for years is great to be able to finally fully utilize the Google assistant for some much more. Battery and camera are both amazing.

It's a great phone! I loved my pixel 2xl and could have continued to use it (going on 3.5 years) but wanted 5g capability. I got so much out of the pixel 2 that I've never been able to with any other smart phone as they usually become almost unusable after 2 years or so. I feel like this one will be just as good; no unnecessary apps, pretty good battery life, 5g works well, OS isn't buggy or slow. The only thing I miss is the active edge and would like to see maybe future xl options or a front screen finger print scanner. Honestly though it's not the end of the world that it doesn't have those things for me personally. You can turn off the gesture mode and use regular buttons like before, which I wish someone had mentioned because I would have bought this much sooner :)
