This phone is 1000x better than the Pixel 4 was in almost every category. However, comparing the HARDWARE to other devices like the Oneplus 8T, it doesn't feel as premium. Great camera, and a really fun device to use :)

I've had the pixel 2, 3 and now the 5. To me the 5's "tech" feels less than the 3, but it's more user friendly and smooth (kind of like apple). I don't know if I enjoy or hate that; being that I am an Android user for a reason... Cameras feel a little more "dumbed down" in terms of user controls, but they still are the great pixel cameras you might have heard about or are already used to using.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone overall, can't complain about much. Maybe could be a little bigger. It's biggest draw is the user interface.

I think they've improved the finger print reader and I haven't had any issues so far with it. Battery seems to be improved to and last a solid day even with heavy use which is a first for me.

I really wanted to like this phone but it is too small, not enough ram and way too expensive for what the phone is. I returned it. Let's see better in the pixel 6.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it!

This phone is awesome! I had a Pixel 3 for work and it was a great phone with a great camera and features. When I decided to switch up my personal phone and carrier I went with Google Fi and the Pixel 5. I couldn't be happier. The camera is of course top notch and the operating system is on the same top shelf level.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't really have any complaints. The phone is good, and does everything I have come to expect it to do, and the battery life is great. My only criticism is that the pixel line is drifting from what it once was. I went from a pixel 2 XL to a 5 and find myself missing the flagship level processing power, screen resolution and audio quality of that previous generation when it was new. If a true flagship pixel returns, I'm game.

Good minus glitches

So far loving this phone, but I have had issues with a "Sim Card Not Reading" error continually popping up that required uninstalling any updates to that stock phone app, and also issues not connecting to certain WiFi networks. I just received my warranty replacement in the mail today so hopefully these issues do not persist, because otherwise I already love the phone. Much faster, smoother, and higher quality than my previous Samsung Galaxy S10.
