Pretty Good, Still Early

I have only had the phone for a week and a half so there isn't a ton of time to base this off of. I like the design, like that the screen goes further than it did on my Pixel 2. I liked that when I transferred from the 2 to the 5, it kept everything the same, including what icons were on my screen and the order they were in. The only thing that is taking some getting used to is the whole going back or pulling up the full icon menu. I am used to the options at the bottom, now you swipe in a direction to get it. Overall I like it but I won't give 5 stars until I have had more time with it.

Great Upper Mid Range Phone

I love the battery life, build, and size of the Pixel 5. It is very refreshing. However, the phone isn't perfect. The biggest issues with the Pixel 5 are (1) the speakers, (2) the vibration, and (3) outdated camera hardware. The under display speaker makes the phone look good, but the speaker quality suffers. I think the speaker quality is a factor that should outweigh how the phone looks. The vibration is a downgrade from the Pixel 4. This needs to improve. Lastly, Pixel phones have great photo taking abilities. However, the competition is catching up, and the new Pixels NEED better hardware. There NEEDS to be main, wide angle, and telephoto cameras in the next Pixel. Additionally, the video capabilities need to improve. The phone should be capable of capturing video at 4K 60fps on every camera.

The Pixel 5 is a decent phone. I'm still not 100% sold on the gesture navigation and miss the button configuration I had with my Pixel 3 XL. It also would have been nice to have an XL version of the 5.

Nice average phone

The good. Price, battery life and size. Battery last at least a day with moderate usage. The size is perfect, feels good while holding it and not noticeable when I'm a pocket. The camera is nice enough for my use, but not the best out there. The same can be said with the overall speed of the phone. I'm not sure why the didn't make this a better phone with a faster processor and a little bit better camera.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone is great but missing some perks.

Overall, this phone is pretty great to use if you don't care about it not being that big. The 6 inch screen is fine for me though and it looks great. Stock google software is really simple and pleasant to use. This is my first Pixel device so software interactions on the first time are everything. The one thing that really irritated me though was not getting the 3 months of Youtube Premium with the phone. This is a new pixel and I thought it was suppose to come with it. I got the email and it only shows 1 month. Tried to call and there wasn't really anyone who could assist me. That's frustrating, but great phone though.

Outstanding

Switched from 3XL to 5. New features are amazing. I love the camera, more battery life, and more RAM. My 3XL had 4 GB ram, 64 GB storage, and the battery runs out very fast. I am glad that I switched to pixel 5

Love my Pixel 5

I absolutely love my pixel 5. Wouldn't switch back from Apple or Samsung period! There are only a few things that annoy me but i can easily forget about it- I can only group apps on the home screen but not in the apps screen. I like a clean home screen- I cannot clear the apps all at once that are running in the background. I have to swipe each one away which take about 3 seconds longer. But in the end, perfect phone!!
