Great Device! Don't let specs fool you!!

Don't let the older main processor fool you. This was done to save battery and boy does this phone last far beyond a day! The processor is plenty fast enough on stock android with no bloatware to slow it down as on Samsung and LG devices. Fantastic camera and timely updates round out the fey features that make this phone a major go! I only wish I would have saved money and not tried a non Pixel first due to the specs seemingly being worse than other devices in the same price range...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone from a software company.

Most phones out there are made by hardware makers. Google isn't one of them. They're a software company. So when looking at specs alone, this phone is mediocre. Camera sensor is the same for the past few Pixel phones, CPU is not top of the line, and the few hardware features that it has, other phones have had for years. But once Google puts their software and AI into it, It suddenly becomes a pretty good phone. But since it's all software, all the unique software features on this phone, can be given its older pixel devices.The only thing I'm disappointed with is the hole punch front camera. It forces the notification bar to become a large digital forehead. And with a black background that makes the camera invisible, it still pushes over the clock which is very noticeable. I was ok with a physical forehead, it wasn't _that_ bad. It allowed for great features like face unlock (which I do hope comes back in the next gen Pixel)But over all, good phone, and good price.

iPhone X to Pixel 5

I've had iphones for a long time. My most recent phone was an iPhone X. Nothing is wrong with Apple and my switch to Google was simply put of pure boredom with my phone. I expected to dislike some things switching over but honestly it's not bad at all. You get used to the gesture changes easily and unless you use a lot of specific apple only applications... The transition is easy. I only wish I could put my icloud photos onto my new phone. Google drive is fine of course I just miss having access to years of photos.

I haven't found anything that I don't like about this phone. It has great sound, a lot of storage, a great camera, and battery life is great. The only thing that seems to be hard to get is the accessories. Stores carry very little accessories for the Pixel.

The phone brings all I love about Pixel. I'm glad the fingerprint sensor was brought back -- in this day of masking. It's fast. The display is beautiful, and the camera everything I expect from Pixel.
