Galaxy to Pixel

Love it. I do miss Samsung's alarm.Wish I could change the color of the dialogue bubbles in messages.Can't always tell if my batter is charging or not.Probably mostly training on my part. Love it!

I've had the Pixel 5 for about a week now. So far it seems to work better than Samsung Galaxy S phones for the most part.

Great phone but Android is a bit buggy

The Google Pixel 5 is on par with the iPhone 12 by almost every metric (and is better in some ways). The OS is little glitchy/buggy in some scenarios. I've found a few already and it's been about a week. Hoping Google sorts this out or I might be jumping ship back to Apple. Great phone otherwise.

"Corrupted Device" Error Message

Not happy that the phone keeps shutting down with a "Your device is corrupted" error message. Requires repeated attempts to reboot, which don't always work. Very frustrating and disappointing! Thought I'd be getting a great phone that worked well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pure Android, clean and quick

When the Pixel 5 was announced, I was a little disappointed and tried a couple of other phones. I quickly learned that having a clean Android phone is just a joy. The battery is over 50 percent at the end of the day. Everything just works and seems plenty quick.

Easy to transfer, but difficult to navigate

Moving from my old pixel to my new pixel was relatively easy, but I am struggling with the new navigation and swiping. This is especially an issue if the sensor/camera in the upper left corner is covered. At least this one doesn't spontaneously reboot constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
