I love how fast it is. Voice command is always ready and understand my accent. I love all google products. My house is almost all smart!

Android, the Way It Was Intended

After having upgrading to a Pixel 5 from my previous Android-based device from another manufacturer (let's just say their name rhymes with gorgonzola), I have to say that I'm immensely pleased with the quality and speed. The extra RAM and faster processor is of immense benefit, and I also appreciate the security of knowing that Google will provide extended support through updates - something that was lacking on my previous phone. If you want a high-performing Android phone with no bloatware that isn't absurdly-priced, this is the one to get.

So far ok

I have had the phone one week and the battery life is much better than my old phone. However, it did just turn off at one point and it took a couple of hours to figure out how to reset it and get it to turn back on. After that it has done well, but that incident makes me nervous that when I need it - it will just turn off and not come back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as galaxy

Google widgets are better on galaxy than pixel. For instance on calendar widget there is no "today" button to return to current day. Also, pixel doesn't charge on most of my wireless chargers I used with my old galaxy.

I like the 5 a lot better than the 4. The 5 brought back the ability to open the phone with a fingerprint. The 4 used facial recognition, which became a problem with the pandemic and wearing masks. The only thing I don't like about the 5 is navigating back and out of apps. I'm sure with practice I will get use to it though.

They've nailed the user experience. Looking forward to those nearly-instant security updates. Nothing is laggy. Fingerprint sensor is in such a convenient spot. Get you one!

Swiping side to side is confusing!

The phone's great I like the Google Pixel 5, sorry that It took me so long to get it. Though using an Android LG the swiping side to side is a little different on the Google Pixel 5 , a bit confusing ,but I'm sure I'll get over it after a few weeks of use. Screen is a little smaller but the screen is easy on the eyes, works excellent with my Chromebook. I'm very happy with the Pixel 5 very happy.

Hate the software

I prefer my very old motorola phone over this new pixel....I used Samsung for years before I made the switch. Thought I'd love the phone but I just really don't like using it at all......
