Best Phone ever

Had every Pixel and a lot of other Flagship phones, Apple and Android and this is my favorite, easily. Just does everything well and FAST. Couldn't be more pleased.

The fact that you swipe to the side to go back and swipe up closes a app drives me nuts. I'm constantly doing one or the other while scrolling.

I think I was given a defective phone. It would put the phone call on hold while I was talking on the phone..even if I had the phone sitting on the table on speaker. Also there was a lag when sending messages and some of my texts never actually sent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pixel 5 issues

We had to upgrade from pixel xl 2 to pixel 5 after they promised no updates. The issues is the swipe function where you constantly back out of an app while scrolling. This can be resolved after much googling. The other issue is my wife's phone that is 10 days old. The battery over heats in idle and takes 6 hours to charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pixel 5 - Pretty good....not perfect

I recently had to upgrade because my Pixel 3XL bricked. I was hoping there would be a suitable replacement for the 3XL in terms of size and performance but alas the Pixel 5 line doesn't have anything quite that size. As an older user with bifocals the larger screen real estate is handy to have. This isn't particularly a deal breaker but it would've been nice to have the option.So, in terms of the Pixel 5 its performance is snappy and this particular one came with 128GB vs. the 64GB I had previously. The screen, though noticeably smaller, is acceptable in terms of clarity and usability.I am curious to see how performance is with the radio and 5G as it becomes more readily available.Also, the battery, thus far, seems to be holding it's own so we shall see how it all holds up.

Love my new Google Pixel 5. I had the Google Pixel 3 before, which I also loved, but the clarity of the Pixel 5 camera is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this phone!
