Its so small...

First thing i noticed is how much smaller it is than my 4XL. I personally liked the size of the 4XL, and should have really known what i was getting into. The second thing was the "squeeze for assistant" feature, which was frustrating at times, but useful for when i didnt want to set off ALL of my google devices with "OK Google." Finally, the features one would expect from an upgrade just arent apparent. Everything i would do on the 5, i could have done on the 4XL.Deeply regretting upgrading to this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defent phone, but nothing special. They kept the lower midringe price point in focus. I still wish they had an XL version though. I was forced to upgrade from by now cracked Pixel 3XL and dont see any difference

A Worthy Upgrade From The Google Pixel 3

A quick summary comparison.1) Battery life is phenomenal. Even when using AccuBattery Pro to charge the battery only to 80%, the battery life is phenomenal, with 8 or more hours of screen-on time.2) The under-display speaker sounds fine for phone calls, perhaps even enjoyable since the reproduction of human voice ranges is good. It isn't anywhere near as nice as the front-firing speakers of the Pixel 3, but when used for conference calls or speakerphone, it gets the job done and doesn't sound "awful" or "unusable". It's perfectly adequate. If the speaker quality is stopping you from purchasing, but you like the power-sipping 765G chipset and 6" display, I suggest you go for it. I don't think you'll regret it.3) The 765G chipset is a capable contender coming from the Pixel 3's Snapdragon 845. I haven't personally encountered any slowdown, or noticed anything that would make me question the performance of the 765G. I don't play any games or edit video on my device, however.

Terrible reception, great battery

As the title suggests, the phones battery life is phenomenal. I can go two days without charging. The reception is the worst I've ever had on any phone I've ever owned. Constantly drops calls or gets very poor reception.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone

The pixel 5 is really fast and has great memory space. While the storage might not be the biggest amongst other phones of this generation, it still is plenty for myself. The camera is easily the best on the market especially when it comes to night photos. My wife was upset when she learned her new iphone 12 pro couldn't compete. If you live in the Google ecosystem you just can't beat it. I have had many nest speakers and a display in my house for a year, using my old samsung to control it, switching to a pixel was the best decision I've made.

I've had a lot of Android phones but never a Pixel phone until now.This phone is somehow faster than the so called flagship costing a lot more.The Camera, simplicity of the Software, the quality materials and size is perfect. Don't forget about the battery life... Amazing. Everything just works, and works very well. Please continue making phones like this and I'll be a pixel fan for life.
