I have had a pixel for years and my phone was lost. I was reluctant to get the pixel 5 because it's so small. I love Google products and went ahead and got it. I returned it after 1 week. It's just way to small and the functions of clearing apps etc. was changed. I am using an older phone I had until either pixel releases a new bigger size or I decided to switch to a Samsung.b
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great device comparable with iPhone

Better Than Imagined

I knew when I chose to purchase the Google Pixel that there were phones on the market with higher specs ...and price tags. I had an iPhone 11 Pro and I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything after switching. It works perfectly. I bought one for my wife, as well, and the feeling is very much the same. So long as Google keeps the same high standards of hardware and software quality and integration, we're a Pixel family. ...I even bought a Pixel Go Chromebook for my daughter and she's over the moon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice been with the latest samsung phones for years. I can't stand the bloat ware. I jumped into the pixel phone and I'm glad I did.

A nice upgrade but set your expectations

This is a great upgrade from my Pixel 2 XL. Smaller form factor with the same sized screen. Snappier performance owing to the newer processor and significantly better RAM. Similar sleek Android feel. Greatly improved camera. Surprisingly decent sound quality. There is a lot to like here in the Pixel 5, as compared to the Pixel 2 XL.Now, for taking care when it comes to expectations: The Pixel 5 is not going to compete with the raw cutting-edge computing power of the latest Samsung Galaxy flagship phones. The processors are in different performance classes. The storage capacity of the Pixel 5 still tops out at 128 GB. There is still no HDMI output functionality (where Samsung boasts the impressive DeX Mode), a feature specifically disabled on Pixel devices.This said, I very much enjoy the smooth polish of the interface design and of the feature implementations that Google provides on their Pixel devices. If you don't need top-tier performance, the Pixel 5 is a solid choice!

Awesome but no place to put aux cord

Love the phone just kinda sucks can't plug in aux cord in my car but I guess I can always get a bluetooth fm transmitter but seriously not everyone has bluetooth leave the aux port as a viable option on phones.

There are things that are better than my old Pixel 2XL. One thing I really dont like is the swiping feature to get back to the previous screen. It is just a big pain, really. That one change, IMO, makes the phone just OK.
