Phone works very well. Great upgrade from the Pixel 3XL. I don't like how some of my apps would not work on the 3XL and then on this latest Android update my phone just froze that same night. Seems like a coincidence that it happened that same day and my phone was paid off a month prior. But for the Pixel 5 as of now works very well and all my apps are working fine. Let's see if I have issues with it when the Pixel 6 or 7 comes out. I hope they're not acting like the iPhones were with older models.

The phone is great as far as software, but the build quality is lacking. One of my speakers is out. I have had the phone for 2 weeks, and that is how it came

Been a fanboy of all Google phones since my first Nexus, the 3. I'll never forget getting Ice cream sandwich on that smallish but affordable phone. Now updates are a monthly thing and updates to the OS are almost less than a year. This phone is a reminder that bigger is not better size wise. The screen size is about the same if not the same as my old workhorse 3aXL, but so much more comphy in the hand. Speed? Well it beyond faster than the older but still favorite, and 5G is consistent with my carrier. It's still the most I've paid for a phone... ever- that hurts but it is the new daily driver, And I love it. Bite the $ and get one.

I upgraded from a pixel 3 XL and honestly the 5 is phenomenal. I have no buyers remorse whatsoever and have just been enjoying the phone. The 90Hz display keeps everything looking pretty smooth and even with the chipset being the SD 735G, Google does an amazing job optimizing the hardware to feel just as fast as any other device. One of the huge pluses of the phone is the battery life, I let the phone get down to 6% at one point and decided to see what the screen on time was at and no joke the phone had ten and a half hours of screen on time... Phenomenal. I'm really glad I made the jump and got the pixel 5.

Keeping it short and sweet, I'm came from a LG V40 that was still going strong but had came under from several issues unfortunately I couldn't fix myself. So it was time to get a new phone and I was under a budget and decided to get the Pixel 5. While still considered a "downgrade" in some aspects imo, I have been loving this phone ever since I got it exactly a week ago. I love the smaller size as even with big hands, the V40 felt imbalanced while with the PIxel 5 I don't need a popsocket to feel safe lol. Other aspects I dig are the screen, camera and pics are great and the phone's speaker is decent enough for me.
