Facial Recognition Is Missing

Pixel 5 has improved a lot from pixel 4 but facial recognition is missing. Facial recognition is the best feature of the Pixel lineup.

Software is fluid and smooth. I upgraded from a 3XL and thought I would have issues with the smaller size, however I feel very liberated from the larger and larger phones.

Disappointed

Was disappointed with the way Android worked on this phone. Didn't like that all app icons were on one page, which meant scrolling up and down until I found the app I wanted. I also was very disappointed in the way I needed to open the screen to see the currently open apps to close them. I couldn't get the hang of swiping on the bar at the bottom of the first page. I eventually sent the phone back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but a hiccup

Everything about this phone is far more enjoyable than the Samsung Galaxy I once had. It takes some getting used to, however. The missing star is because once it rebooted at random and I have no idea why.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could be bigger

When i click on a file the back button doesn’t workAlso to small im 6,3 so the screen is super small for my hands

Not IPX! Don't buy

My phone was damaged after a week due to it not being IPX rated, google insists that their phones are not water resistant and they will not cover any damage caused by the phones not being manufactured as water resistant. Buy from another company that actually give you a phone as advertised.

Great phone, except for social media

I bought this phone because I'd read the camera was really good and maybe it's that I was used to the Samsung style that I was kind of put off by it, wish I could say exactly what it was, but I ended up returning it when I realized how vastly incompatible the camera was with social media apps, especially Instagram. Photos taken directly through the app would, unfortunately, come out *really* bad and recurring to simply uploading from my phone would limit my use of the app which I was the opposite of my needs. I have an inkling that a part of the issue comes from photographing warm colors (I am of a warm skin tone) and everything in the pics taken with the IG app, not just myself, would come out really orange. I use IG more than any other app and the quality is so distinctly bad that I preferred to return it even though everything else about the phone was really nice, fast, intuitive and accessible. That's how bad and offputting the quality of the photos were through IG.
