Sweet phone but has some problems.

I really like Googles take on what a phone should be. It's simple, barebones and very customizable. That being said...oftentimes the "Smart Lock" feature just doesn't work. I'm at my house where the location should keep the phone unlocked or in my truck connected to Bluetooth and I still have to input my pin or enter my fingerprint. It seems finicky about recognizes screen touches. I find myself having to tap on things multiple times before it will finally register that I'm doing anything. When the phone is charging, it will not respond to my thumb whatsoever. I have to use my index finger in order to use my phone at all.Honestly, I was kinda hoping this phone would take me back to my Nexus 6 experience but it just doesn't seem to be the case. Good luck folks.

This phone sucks

The phone consistently under performs against my last pixel that's over a year old. Terribly unsatisfied with paying full price for this useless brick of a phone. I really hope this is a software issue but doubt it since this phone has been out for quite sometime already. Especially with the Google assistant and voice text(pretty much useless). Should have waited for the pixel 6 or just switch out right to apple.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super sturdy with a huge battery and lots of storage. The only problem I have is finding a case for it.
