Not much different than my pixel 3. I expected a better phone not the same

Amazing Tech!

I've had my Pixel 5 for a few weeks now,and honestly I've enjoyed everything about it! It runs so fast and seamless. Easily switching between apps, loading webpages and anything else you throw at it all with no hangs. The camera is amazing and I'm glad it lives up to all the hype I was hearing surrounding it. I also love that the pixel isn't bogged down with tons of bloat ware apps that you'll never use. For the most part, everything that came pre installed was something I'd actually use, with very few exceptions. The only real cons I can think of are the lack of an SD card slot, and a lack of a headphone jack. These aren't deal breakers, as you can buy an adapter for your wired headphones, and use a flash drive for storage. So definitely don't let that deter you.All in all, I love this device and I'm glad I could snag one while they were still in stock!

Call Sound Quality

The phone call sound quality is mediocre at best and absolutely horrible at worst. Most of the phone apps and systems work well; however, I purchased the phone both as a calling devise and small computer. So, call quantity is 50% of my concern. Very disappointed with the Pixel 5 and the lack of quality control by Google.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it, But

Look. I bought the Pixel 5 when it was announced that the Pixel 6 would be discontinuing the trend of having a smaller flagship phone in place of a larger regular phone and an even larger pro model. I love the phone but I would have waited for the Pixel 6 if a smaller phone had been announced. I miss the front facing speakers of the Pixel 3, but other than that and squeeze to launch assistant this phone works great for me.

Awesome Phone... no earphone jack

Everything is fast and easy. The camera is AMAZING and takes high-quality pictures during the day and during the night. The only bummer is no earphone jack. Before I had the 4a and was really happy with the addition of the earphone jack. I really really really wish I had the jack... but in all its a great device and give it full 5 stars!
