Make an old lighting layout new

This solved the layout problem of the existing switches and bad past rewiring. If replacing existing 3 or 4 way switches I’d suggest using the remote at the most used location as it has a 50% light level button. I wish there was an easier way to sort through the physical switches as it seems there are specialty switches but hard to ID and buy.

Okay, but not as good as expected.

I bought this product having experimented with smart lighting for hue and loving automatic dimming on and off for sunsets and nighttime. But bulbs are expensive, especially when there are many connected to a switch - so decided to try caseta. It works, but the app is sorely lacking compared to hue (difficult to program and customize a fade on/off). There is also a notable latency with both the switch and app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally a system that works!

Finally, a company designed a system that works and is easy to install and set up. Lutron uses an RF Bridge that enables switching commands to reach all parts of my home. Not only that, the functionality is consistent and works flawlessly. On the other hand WeMo and Meross systems do not use a Bridge to distribute commands around you home and their so called "Smart Switches" often loses network connection that has to be reset. But that's no all... Lutron support is excellent with very competent "US Based" support technicians. I am an electronic engineer and the couple of time I called for support, I talked to serious well trained support personnel. All I can say is "Thank you Lutron for very smart engineering!"

Great Switches

I’ve added several caseta dimmers and motion sensors to my home. I haven’t had a single issue with any of them and they work perfectly with HomeKit. I highly recommend them for anyone upgrading. Great customer service!

I have used many different smart switches over the years. After installing I removed and switched to another product. Very unpleased with capabilities of the system. Including the fit and finish of the switches which seems cheaply made, not what I expected from lutron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great switch, easy to install and connect to phone

It was easy to install the smart switches, they look and feel great. The install instructions for 3-way weren't as clear and took much longer than I'd hoped for.

Reliable, flexible, futuristic

I bought this 3 months ago and it is great. If the internet drops out, the switches still function, and the hub hooks back up to internet when power is restored automatically.
