The insulated compartment on the carafe is not sealed on my unit. Water/soap has obviously gotten in here and it looks terrible. Sent customer service request, but have just gotten emails back saying they’re busy and will get back to me. I anticipate this will be fixed on their end, but since this product is so expensive, those considering purchasing should know that there are construction issues w the carafe. The pour over component generally functions well but filters are hard to come by, and my ground cup and pour over unit are very hard to nest together.

Very pretty. Carafe doesn’t keep coffee at temp as long as I would like. Difficult to hold the carafe (feel like I need 2 hands for it to be secure when handling)

Pretty, but spills everywhere

Really love the aesthetic and the coffee is great, but the way that its shaped for the glass causes it to always spill everywhere when pouring no matter how hard I try. Also, requiring that it can only use the specific paper filters from Fellow (stagg xf, none other will fit) and those are bleached only is frustrating when trying to remove chemicals from my life. That plus having to pay for shipping each time need more filters. Would prefer if they made a stainless filter option or unbleached filters. Overall its nice but I would not buy or gift another one.

I love the double wall system that helps keep coffee hotter longer. The neck is almost too wide for my hand, just big enough that I’m nervous to try and hold it with one hand. But that aside, it makes a really cup of coffee and has little dots that help you make a single or double cup without much effort. Easy to make, easy to clean!

Coffee lover here to report that NOTHING is like brewing with the Stagg. It's only me, but I went for the XL so that when I have a friend over, I can brew two cups at once. The quality of this brewer is unparalleled. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. If you're on the fence, trust me... this is an investment in well-built machine that makes clean coffee. Daily go-to now.
