Great set, not so great filters

The glass for the set is wonderfully made, it feels sturdy like it could take a slight impact without shattering. The actual pour over set is great as well, I really l like the measuring cup, it makes it a lot faster of a process without the need of a scale. The only gripe I have is the coffee filters. The ruffled shape makes it to where the coffee grinds will get caught into them and it becomes difficult to pour the water over them. Also the coffee filters are a bit expensive for what they are.

Nice setup for pour-over

The Stagg dripper is very different from the other drippers that I own, but I like the concept and it does make good coffee. The first carafe that I received developed moisture between the walls. I think this was due to a tiny hole/flaw in the lip around the upper edge, not the "nipple" on the bottom that all of them have. In any case, Fellow replaced it immediately and express shipped the replacement to me, so I can't complain too much about that. I really like the carafe a lot, even though some coffee inevitably dribbles down the front when pouring with the lid on. Based on my experiences with Fellow, I would say that their products are innovative, stylish, and fun to own, and that they are very good about taking care of any defects. I suspect that they might be more profitable if they devoted more resources to quality control to avoid such problems in the first place, but I expect to continue buying their products anyway, mainly because I find thinking behind them fits so well with my ways of making and enjoying coffee.

This pour over set feels solid and satisfying. The glass is thick, and I'm not worried about accidentally shattering it by lightly tapping it against something, And the filter works like a charm, no clogging or tipping over. I can make about two really great cups of coffee at a time, and I haven't put it away since the day I unboxed it. I'm happy that I spent a little more money for a quality product.

The funnel for the filter
