Very difficult to mess up a brew with the Stagg. This device looks beautiful on my counter. My filter coffee is consistently sweet with the following recipe:
24g light roast coffee ground medium-fine, 400g 212 degree water
50g for bloom, wait 45 sec, pour 50g bursts, swirls the final 50g and aim for a 2:30 final pour.

The design is comfortable and keeps my coffee warm. You can measure out the coffee grounds and amount of water perfectly and also the taste is so much better with this. Also, when mine was delivered broken the customer service was excellent and got me a new one shipped right away.

I own a Chemex and a Hario, and this is without question my favorite pour over. The flow rate is even, extraction always comes out bright, and it makes a great cup of coffee. The measurement/drip lid is clever, everything about the setup feels thoughtful and refined. It also feels very tactile and good in your hands, and pours cleanly. Love, love, love.
