I love the design and the quality but the filter paper I would say could use a design upgrade. The depth of the waves/ruffles in them present difficulty in a perfect pour. Some coffee doesn’t receive the correct amount of saturation or heat. I would suggest decreasing the depth of waves to smaller waves/ruffles for a better even pour where all of the coffee is being attended to.

i seem to be the only person who doesn't get the design of this ...it's so narrow even a gooseneck seems hard to pour through. coffee gets all stuck up in the folds. final product turns out...ok, the construction so far isn't as problematic as some have said

I just enjoy making coffee every morning. Coffee tastes like no other. I know the quality of coffee beans makes a big difference but i truly believe the pour over technique is a big complement to the perfect cup of coffee.

I also own the smaller stag X which I like better. The larger XF is a little bit clumsy in comparison both physically and in making coffee. If you need a SUV get the XF, if you want a Corvette get the X.

Having never done pour-over before, I was not sure where to start and had no idea what the little funnel was. Lol! But boy, everything about this little contraption is so smartly thought out. I thoroughly enjoy using it, the easy cleanup, and just how pretty it is.
