Not a bad printer considering the price tag.

It was a rough start with this 3D printer but once the variables were worked through it does a good job. I have experience with printers that are a lot more expensive, while they undoubtedly do a better job, its not by a wide margin. Considering the cost of this printer it is well worth it.

Printer exceeded expectations. Easy to assemble. Took a little tinkering in cura and belt tensioning to get off to the races. Prints good and excellent features. Only concern is the cables to hot end tend to hang low over build plate and could catch on print but I'm sure there are lots of clever ways to keep it clear

The Monoprice MP10 3D printer has the potential to be a great 3D printer - if you can get it to work! I purchased one in December 2021. I have sent back, to date, 3 of them because of malfunctions. Typically X, Y or Z axis limit switches not working. Layer shifting on long duration prints. Extruder fan not working. Just to name a few. I will shortly be receiving my 4th printer. We will se how this one goes.

There was a blockage in the tube through which the filament goes. I had to return the printer the very next day.

Did the test print on the first printer and it didn't look so good then nothing worked and I got a new one again and now I can't even do a test print.
Nothing against monoprice but quality of the printer is good and solid but after the first printer having multiple issues and getting the second one sent out he put together nothing would even print I couldn't get filament through the nozzle.

The auto leveling does not work
on January 1, 2023

The auto leveling does not work and I have to figure out the Z offset every time I run that process. The Z offset should be constant once set. Very hard to use the printer when the auto leveling is wrong.

Hello 3d printing enthuist,
I started this little hobby at the beginning of the COVID pandemic in 2020. I went to my local Microcenter store and behold this monster sized printer. I wanted to get into cosplaying and costume creation so I think size mattered (it does sometimes). This is not a beginner friendly printer. After a few months, I was gifted an Ender 3. Which oppositely to the MP10 is friendly for beginners. Once I learned the basic steps of manually setting up a 3d printer, learning profile types, and overall maintence, it made the MP10 a powerhouse of a printer. Two things if you are having choppy or messy prints, slow down the print speed to 40mm/s. Yes it's slow and will take a while but this printer, does a great job at this speed. Secondly, practidce different profile types depending on whatt you are printing. On a side note, if you can upgrade to a metal extruder and a glass bed, I highly recommend it for long term use.
