Good Battery

Have bought for some time. Batteries are typically good with good life. Recently changed packaging, new package stinks. Childproof and a reason to raise prices while packaging fewer in the package. Interesting the website shows the new package (6) per package. Comments shows the old (8) per package. Now have to use scissors to open, handling sharp objects again....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Near impossible to open at any age/any equipment

New "child proof" is horrible. Knives won't cut, scissors certainly don't. I must use the tip of electrical pliers to cut the packaging, and small screw driver to then ply it apart I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy let alone a friend.

Been using them for years and have to tell you it's the worst packaging idea I have seen. Child proof yes, arthritic hands, no. Your other packages were great. Will search for other supplier.

This package is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.
I'm a 79 year old that cannot get into the pagageing!
Thankfully, my husband searched his tool box to find something that could make the cut you suggest. I will be contacting t Veteran admiration about this problem. I have no children.

Horrible new packaging

I've used Rayovac HA batteries for many years. The older packaging with the rotating wheel was great. The new packaging is not - requires one to cut into the plastic housing and squeeze out each battery. And one is left with a less than optimal container for holding the remaining batteries. I need to shop for an alternative it appears

My first time using Rayovac.
I just purchased a package of 16, Use by date Oct 2016 Control # HFAPA 2136.
I installed in both aids, one aid did not come on, the other beeped the low battery warning about 30 seconds later. I installed another battery in each aid, and neither one came on. I installed a third battery in each aid and the aids came on. It has only been an hour, so I don't know how long they will last; I will report back.
Statistically speaking, this is not very good.
