I bought a 16 battery (2 wheel) pack. 4 of the first 8 batteries did not work out of the package, 2 others worked for about 30 minutes. I have not tried anymore, I had to go buy other batteries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have never, in 25 years of wearing hearing aids, purchased a pack of hearing aid batteries only to find every single battery dead. peeled the sticker off each one individualy, and examined them with a volt meter. Not a single one over 1/2 volt.
Not happy!

Very difficult to access batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am supplied these batteries by the Veterans Administration. The child resistant packaging is very difficult open and extract the batteries. The plastic is just about impossible to cut with ordinary scissors. I used a small pair of wire cutters to breech the outer edge. It was still difficult to extract a battery. A huge fail on the packaging engineers. I guess I’m in the one percent who couldn’t figure this out in a minute!

This is the second time I have had problems with Rayovac 10 for my hearing aids. The first time I thought was a fluke. Even tho they were well within the expiration date, most only last one day. I even had a couple of them they were DOA out of the package.

I bought a 16pk with an expire at Aug, 2019. Half didn't work at all and 2 beeped near dead after an hour and the remaining 6, 3 lasted about a whole day and the other 3 lasted into third day.

My husband is legally blind and finds these are easy for him to use when replacing his batteries and says they definitely last longer.
