Excellent value

I had an Apple iPhone and it stopped working due to Apple not supporting the software anymore since it was 5 years old. And I didn't want to pay high price for a new Apple phone. I took a chance on this Motorola One 5G phone and so am very satisfied with it. The Motorola phone is better in many ways than the new Apple phone which is thicker and heavy and 3 times the price. Apple software is good but their new phones are not worth it. This phone has several things that I really like such as expandable memory slot, separate audio plug, slim and lightweight, and the photo quality is just as good. Why spend 3 times more for Apple when this is better is many ways.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A wonderful phone

This is by far the best cell phone I gave ever owned. I went from a Moto 5g plus which was also a good phone. But, this new phone works beautifully. I like the battery life and all the features. A good bang for the buck.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very quirky phone

Bought this a month ago. It seems to need a restart daily, otherwise it can slow down when browsing. Also, every day when I first use the phone, it has loaded 5 to 9 new web pages that I never visited. Not sure why this happens, but it's a bit scary. I have downloaded hardly nothing during this time. 5 G seems to be just a sales pitch. It's hardly any better than 4g. Nice phone, but not as special as advertised.

Very Annoying!

I don't know if it is a new android thing or a Motorola thing but you have to swipe the edges to go back, IN EVERYTHING! There's no back buttons anywhere. 5 pages into a website and want to go back to your search? Start swiping or start over. Swipe by accident because your website scrolls side to side and you got to close to the edge? Guess what. There is absolutely no way to go forward.
The camera isn't any better. Picture quality is good after you answer a million questions. Are you too close? Do you need to switch lenses? Do you need night vision?
I'm sorry Motorola. I have used your phones for 20 years, had every Moto X, just gave up my Moto X4 but this phone isn't user friendly and no where near the quality I'm used to. And my Moto 360 I bought with it is even worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone

Wish the battery lasted a lot longer. Hard to find a case for the device. Size of the phone is large. Wish the camera has a shortcut for light trails.

Good phone for the $$$

I've had this phone for almost two months now and I have no regrets. It doesn't have any lag while opening apps and is always fast. The fingerprint security feature is the best performing one I've ever had. Usually it takes more than one try to get the phone to unlock but not with this one, it works first try every time. The camera isn't really anything special.
I would recommend this to a friend!
