Outstanding Purchase

Purchased the shredder earlier this month as my older shredder bit the dust. What a wonderful device!! Quiet, efficient and cuts in micro shreds. Document security is of utmost importance and the micro cuts provides the assurance I need.

8MC Shredder

I have had other shredders but the Fellowes 8MC shredder is the best shredder that I have ever used.

Good Compact Shredder

My old shredder broke and I found this one at the store. It is nice and compact and fits where I need it to go. I love the safety feature it has being I have a 2 year old at home. The only things I am not a fan of is: 1) It doesn't have a handle to lift the shredding unit off the bin 2) It states it can shred 8 sheets at the same time however I feel like it struggles with just 5 so I have not tried putting more. Other than that it gets the job done and I am happy with it.

Fellowes Shredder 8MC

This is the second Fellowes shredder that I have owned. They really hold up well. We had the last one for well over 10 years. The documents are micro cut and very secure. This model is not loud and shreds documents very fast. Very happy with this purchase.

Features that are noticeable include: a cord sufficiently long to reach my outlet and a shredder that stops promptly after grinding the final paper.

Fabulously Quiet and Efficient

This shredder is fabulous! It is so quiet. I can hear my TV show or my kids talking while it is running. My previous shredder by a different manufacturer sounded like a diesel truck. This shredder is a good size. It's compact enough that it doesn't need a lot of room, yet it's big enough to hold a lot of shredded papers, so I don't have to empty it often. Great shredder and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

Best shredder I've ever had. I have used for a couple of weeks now and no problems or issues. Some people say it's noisy, I find it quiet compared to the other shredders I've had. I particularly like the micro-cut feature. I do however suggest to add shredder oil occasionally to keep cutters sharp and free flowing.
