The manual could be a little more specific for install and proper buckling of child into seat to ease a first time mom's worries. However it fits great in our car, our daughter likes it, and we enjoy this seat overall!

This car seat has been great so far. The extend-2-fit allows my daughter to ride rear facing longer. Because of the height of the headrest when adjusted, this car seat makes it a bit difficult to see out of the rear passenger window when making an angled Left turn. I just take extra care and this problem will be resolved all together when I move my daughter to forward facing. She pulls the cupholders out since they simply slip in, which is a bit unfortunate.
Overall - I feel this is a beautiful and sturdy car seat for the price. I love that the shoulder straps adjust automatically when you raise the head rest to account for the child's length. I also love that there are places build into the seat to clip and store the straps when not in use. Super easy to install!

Easy to install and fits great in my 2021 Kia Sorento. Takes up less space than the infant car seat (chicco key fit 30). I’m able to put the passenger seat back farther with this seat.

Addition to my graco family

He’s so happy to be sitting front facing with his feet placed on the footrest attached with this car seat. It has cup holders which are great help as I don’t have to reach out every time he asks for water or snacks. I also like the extra padding feature at the back and how easily it can be adjusted

Uncomfortable Poor Back Design

I bought this a month ago, and I'm not happy with the quality. I bought other Gracobaby products before and had no issues, but this one is clearly lower quality despite the high price tag.
The issue I have is with the inward curved back and inserts, which make it very uncomfortable for my child to sit in this seat. Basically the angle between the base and the back of the seat is less than 90 degrees, plus the back of the seat is curved inward which must make the child feel as if they're sitting in a "cone". It must be very uncomfortable for their back and hips. Also, when you lower the back position to fit a small child, the back inserts as they go down create a gap behind the child which again makes it uncomfortable for the child to sit. I've padded that gap with a small blanket but it's not perfect solution because you have to adjust it all the time.
Overall, I think the quality of Graco seats is going backward, and I think it's unfortunate to see that happen because we used to like Graco products. Other brands like Chicco, Britax, and even Safety First have very good and competitive products. I'm seriously thinking about switching to those brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Seat but Harness is SO hard to tighten!!

When my child isn’t in the seat the harness is easy to use and has no issues. When she is in the seat, you can’t just pull the tightening strap because it barely budges!! My husband, myself and my dad can barley get it tight enough to safely secure our child. I have to use all my might and being pregnant right now, that is tough!! We have two of these and have the same issue with both. I’m wondering what will happen when we turn her forward facing as we won’t have as much room to tighten. My daughter loves the seat and is comfortable but for us, its really hard to love!
