Very secure.

I purchased this product when my daughter became too long for her infant seat. I'm a huge fan of Graco, as this is the brand we had previously. First of all, the price is fantastic for what you get. I feel so much better with her in this seat. She fits so much better. It's also more comfortable for her. It was very easy to install. The only problem is the straps are really difficult to tighten. I had a really hard time with the strap to tighten the seat into my car, as well as the strap to tighten my daughter in the seat. I'm hoping that gets a little easier the more it's used. That's why I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5. Otherwise, I love it.

I have been researching for months the perfect convertible seat with a high rear facing weight limit. When I found this seat I fell in love! Its so compact and fits perfectly in my 03 ford focus. I love the no rethread feature! My daughter is 9 months old and hated her carrier... I put her in the extend2fit and she loved it! She fits so well in it and you can definitely tell her is comfortable. I recommend this seat to anyone who is looking for a long lasting, high rear facing weight, compact and reasonably pieced seat. Next baby, I'll skip the carrier completely and purchase another extend2fit:)

Excellent Car seat

My daughter and I were an automobile accident in which my car was totaled. When we came to a stop we were upside down. She was as secure as if she was in the car right side up. Due to a proper car seat placement and a great product my 9 month old left this accident without so much as a scratch. I immediately went out and bought another just like it. I'm so thankful for this wonderful product. Easy to install and very safe!

Fits Compact Car Rear Facing!

I own a 2014 Kia Soul, and finding a convertible car seat that fit rear facing in the middle was challenging. And if we had to put one on the side, well we would still lose a ton of foot space in the front. We tried several different car seats, and this is the only one we found that fit without having to adjust the front seats. Now, if we chose to extend out the foot space that would be a different story. However, as long as we do not need to increase the foot space we are fine!
As with all Graco products, this is easy to install. We love being able to adjust the height just by pulling up on a bar, instead of having to undo the harness and re thread it.

With the benefits of extended rear facing becoming more evident, I am really happy that Graco added the Extend2Fit into their line up for families who want to have their children rear face for as long as possible.
We have been in the market for an affordable car seat that will allow us to rear face our 2 year old daughter for as long as possible, as well as have the ability to become a booster to give us a long term use out of a single product. This saves us money and creates less waste. The Graco Extend2Fit gives us the option of rear facing until 50 lbs, forward facing from 22-65 lbs and then a booster from 30 - 100 lbs.
The seat has 6 recline positions, with a description of which setting to use based on size and seat orientation on the side. This keeps my kid comfortable and at an optimal safe position in case of an accident. Many parents tend to switch their child to forward facing or to a booster before the child maxes out their weight and height requirement because it appears that the child is no longer comfortable. The 6 recline positions (as well as the extension panel for their legs, which has 3 settings) makes sure that the child is as comfortable as possible to make it easier on parents to keep their children safe.
After finding that it keeps my kid comfy and safe, my concerns switched over to my ease of use. With a car seat that is meant to last this long for a single child, how easily can I move it between my husband's wagon and my Suburban, and is it easy to clean? No one wants to imagine how grimey a car seat can become when used from birth to 100 lbs. Moving the seat between the two cars was not difficult. The belt path is intuitive without having to fiddle around too much. The latches work great if your car has the latches available. Removing the cover was also easy and it washed well. At first I was a little unsure about how well the greyish-white will hold up in long term, but I think that with regular washing it won't discolor too much.
As far as safety, comfort and parental ease of use goes - this is an awesome car seat. I love that I have so many options to keep my child comfortable, which will cut down on how fussy she might be and cause a distraction to the driver.

Great Car Seat for Various Stages!

I got this seat a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed. I can really appreciate that we can use it as a rear facing seat when we have our baby in the car with us and she can use it as a rear facing seat up to 50 lbs, and if we choose to do so we can adjust the seat and turn it around for our toddler to use as a forward facing seat. Then for even more use we can continue to use this seat as our toddler grows and keep him safe and secured since it is made to be used by kids up to 100 lbs! There are 10 positions available in the headrest, so we can adjust it as needed so when our toddler uses it, he can continue to be comfortable as he grows. When it comes to getting baby in and out, I can really appreciate the Fuss Free Harness Storage, which makes the process a lot easier for parents. Other features that are also notable is the fact that there are cup holders on the side which is ideal for our toddler to utilize, and when it comes to messes I like that I can take the cover off and wash it then put it back on easily. Then when it comes to the safety features, I can appreciate that this car seat has the Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which makes the securing of little ones simple, and I like the fact that this seat meets or exceeds the safety standards after passing the crash tests. Making this car seat one that is great for having for baby, toddlers and even older kids to provide both comfort and safety while you are in the car! Love this seat!!!

I have the forever and the extend to fit. I love both but must say my 10 month old seems more comfortable in the extend to fit. I had to remove the infant headrest from the forever as she couldn't turn her head. The extend to fit fits her great and she is able to move her head and sleeps well in this car seat. Great product!
