A car seat that will last
on May 9, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Review Panel. I was immediately impressed by the idea of a car seat that could fit my kids up to 100 lbs. I wish I had purchased one of these for my first-born to save me from unnecessary car seat purchases! I had intended for this to be used for my 1-year-old as we transition her out of the infant carrier. It looked cozy and safe for her. However, my 2-year-old insisted the seat was for him and once I saw the legroom extension panel, I agreed! With the panel extended, we FINALLY stopped hearing from grandparents how he needed to be turned forward for more leg room! I am so pleased with any product that can get young kids to WANT to be rear-facing longer. I know that he is safer this way and he is happy with the feel of the car seat. I love the soft fabric and the Ashton gray color will stay cooler in the hot summer heat. I also like that the cup holders can detach for easy cleaning. I have also tried this car seat forward facing with my 6-year-old and he said it was very comfortable. The car seat was easy to install and adjust for my kids ages 1-6. I have not used the booster seat yet but I can foresee this being the only car seat I need for my kids!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great car seat especially for tall babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of a tall baby (90th percentile for height), the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 has been a game changer for us. One of my top priorities is keeping my child rear-facing as long as possible, and the extension panel feature is exactly what we needed. It provides extra legroom, making rear-facing more comfortable—and safer—for longer. The updated cup holders are another favorite feature. They’re easy to remove and clean, which is such a convenience during busy days and messy snacks. I also love that this seat grows with your child, transitioning from rear-facing to forward-facing and then to a high-back booster. It feels like a smart investment that will last for years. In terms of fit, it’s surprisingly compact. It fits nicely in our back seat without feeling bulky or intruding on front seat space, which is a huge plus if you’re working with a smaller vehicle. The only downside we experienced was with installation. While the process itself isn’t overly complicated, getting a truly secure fit proved to be tricky. Despite watching multiple tutorials, the seat still felt a bit loose. We ended up having it checked at the police station, and it required further adjustments to ensure it was safely installed.
Bottom line: The Extend2Fit 3-in-1 is a fantastic seat with valuable features for growing families—especially if extended rear-facing is a priority. Just be sure to double-check the installation with a certified technician to ensure your child’s safety. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

Dad Approved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently transitioned my daughter out of her infant seat and into the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. She’s clearly more comfortable now—there’s extra legroom thanks to the 4-position extension panel, and she still gets to ride rear-facing longer, which gives me peace of mind knowing she’s safer that way.
One of the things that stood out immediately was how easy it was to install. The InRight LATCH system clicked right into place, and the easy-to-read level indicator helped eliminate that “Am I doing this right?” guesswork. I loved how quickly we could get it securely in the car and adjusted for her size—especially with the no-rethread harness.
The seat feels solid and durable—like it’s built to last, and the sleek, modern look is a bonus. The padding is soft and supportive, and knowing the seat pad is removable and machine washable is a lifesaver for spills and snack messes.
Speaking of snacks, the two built-in cup holders are surprisingly roomy and easy to wipe down. They’ve been perfect for holding her drinks and little treats on longer drives. And the plush inserts helped her feel cradled and cozy during those first few rides in her new “big girl seat.”
This car seat also meets or exceeds crash test standards, including frontal, side, and even rear impact. That level of protection matters to me more than any feature—and the fact that it can grow with her all the way to a highback booster makes it an even smarter investment.
If you're looking for a seat that balances safety, comfort, and convenience, the Graco Extend2Fit delivers on all fronts. It fits beautifully into our car and our everyday life—and most importantly, my daughter loves it. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but this is my honest review!

Perfect car seat for every age

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I did receive this Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Second, I love this car seat and it has permanently replaced one of our previous ones! I have 3 children in car seats, ages 3 months, 18 months, and nearly 5 years old. Their weights are from almost 14 lbs, 24 lbs, and 30 lbs. I was able to fit each child in this car seat with ease and zero complaints. The infant body pillow and head pillow are only for use until 20 lbs, so only my smallest needed it. My other two are so close in size (but not age) that this car seat gave us more options with the extended rear facing. While my oldest is under weight maximums for many car seats at his size to rear face, he has been forward facing normally. When he saw this car seat and he saw the extended panel to rear face, he was so excited and asked to face backwards. He's very small for his age, so he will end up outgrowing the rear facing by his height before he ever reaches 50 lbs. However, I love that this car seat made him want to rear face because I put this car seat in our smaller car that the entire family doesn't fit into, and now my two oldest can both sit in the car seat rear facing with only adjusting the strap height (which is by a handle squeeze on top - no rethreading!) This gives us so much more flexibility in what car we take when my husband and I need to go separately. I also installed this seat both forward facing and rear facing with my oldest, and it took maybe 5 minutes to flip between the two. Install was super easy and the covers make it easy enough to get behind them to visualize the LATCH belt and confirm it's in place. Fitting the seat to each child was also very easy and the extend panel moves out of the way to move the bottom buckle between slots. There are so many recline positions and the seat has an easy to read leveler and overhang allowance. I love that I'm not having to estimate 25% of the car seat base or anything to make sure I have enough of it on the seat. This seat feels very straightforward and has many informational stickers to double check you did it correctly, after reading the manual first. It is also much lighter than our previous car seat, which helped with the install. It fits all of my children well without being bulky.
My only complaints with this car seat would be that it does not have a visible button to loosen the car seat straps, and instead you do have to reach your finger in a slit to find the button. It also looks like the cover itself will be more difficult to put back on if you ever need to take it off; there are a lot of loops and hooks to tether it down in places around the back and sides. Overall, I am so grateful to receive this car seat and will be using it frequently. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in having more space while rear facing, even in a compact 4 door sedan!

Pros and Cons
on May 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. From my trial, this seat definitely has pros and cons. Pros: At first sight with unboxing, I loved this car seat. I received the seat in the color “Ashten,” which is such a pretty grey. It is so important to me to keep my almost 2 1/2 year old son rear-facing as long as possible for maximum safety, so I was so happy to see that this seat allows for my son to be rear-facing up to 50lbs. I like that the seat features a no-rethread harness and harness storage to keep the metal for the buckle from getting too hot and makes it easy to fasten on and off without risking the straps twisting. The seat features several position options and the fact that it can be used up to 100lbs as a booster seat makes it desirable. I like that the cupholders are plastic and easy to wipe out to clean. Cons: The biggest con to this seat for me was how difficult loosing the straps to remove them are because the button is under the padding and there’s no flap to allow you to reach it. There is a skinny slit where the strap comes out at that you have to stick your finger inside to push to loosen the straps. I am a pretty small person with skinny fingers, so I’m able to loosen the straps a lot easier than my husband is able to. The straps are also a little noisy when being loosened. Overall, I do like this seat, but I wish there was an easier way to get to the button for the straps.

Comfy and Quick Install
on May 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat for a little over a week now and we are incredibly grateful for the comfort and convenience it has brought to our family!
To my surprise, I liked the sleek appearance and fabric more than my son's other car seat that is at a higher price point than this Extend2Fit 3-in-1 seat. The fabric felt like it would be very comfortable and breathable, which is important for my almost 4-year-old son in this Texas heat. My son sweats pretty easily as it is, so having a seat that isn’t going to make him sweat more is important for us. He’s been very comfortable in this seat so far!
This Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 car seat was very easy to install into our vehicle. I used the LATCH method and it took me only a few minutes to have the seat firmly installed. The seat was SNUG, it didn’t budge at all when I tried to move it. I truly appreciate the fact that I can adjust the shoulders just by pulling the headrest up instead of needing to rethread the harness. What a huge convenience!
We installed the car seat in my husband's truck to test it out first to see if we wanted it to be our secondary car seat in his truck or if it would be more comfortable as the primary car seat in my SUV. After seeing how much our son loves this seat, we have decided to switch it out and make it his primary car seat in my SUV. My son always complains about the crotch buckle being too tight and hurting him on his other car seat. With this seat, he is much happier and has not complained about any discomfort at all! He has been requesting to “ride in the soft one.” My son is 3, turning 4 in a few weeks, 32 pounds and average height for his age. I love that this car seat has the option to rear-face for up to 50 lbs. We did, however, install the car seat forward-facing due to the fact that our son suffers from severe motion sickness and started puking in his car seat as a baby. The only thing that helped a little was forward-facing him. He still does get carsick occasionally while facing forward. Now that he’s taller and can see out a little more, I am planning to try switching him back to rear-facing in this seat to see how he does but I wasn’t mentally ready to see this shiny new seat spoiled just yet. As a parent, I feel relieved knowing my child is comfortable and safe. My daughter is still rear-facing and I now want to purchase this seat for her as well because she does not deal with car sickness and I’d like to keep her rear-facing until she maxes out the height and weight (her car seat is a different brand and does not accommodate 50 pounds rear-facing). She also always gets her legs stuck out the sides of that car seat so I think this seat will be perfect for her as well!
One of my favorite features of this car seat is the little pockets on the sides of the seat that keep the chest straps out of the way while you get your child in their seat. It might seem like a small detail but if you’ve ever spent time trying to dig the straps out from behind your child then you know how frustrating it can be! A small detail with a huge impact on convenience.
I genuinely believe this car seat has no cons. I wholeheartedly recommend the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat to any parents looking for an excellent choice that provides safety, comfort, and easy installation.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this car seat!

Perfect Car Seat for Tall Drivers and Kids
on May 10, 2025
Posted by: RMG7
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With baby #2 on the way and plans to move our toddler behind the driver's seat soon, I've been looking for the best rear-facing option for tall drivers (I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'4"). I had seen multiple recommendations for the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 as a great front-to-back compact option so I was thrilled to receive this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! My almost 18-month-old is in the 99th percentile at 33lbs and 37" tall and we want to keep him rear-facing for as long as possible. This product solves both of our primary concerns! He still fits comfortably in this car seat without using the extension panel and it fits behind the driver's seat positioned as far back as possible (we will need to move the driver's seat up in our current vehicle if we want to fully extend his legroom). Knowing that this car seat accommodates rear-facing up to 50lbs gives us the confidence that he will be able to use this seat in the safest way for as long as possible.
This car seat was super easy to install and adjust to give my little guy a perfect fit. The no-rethread harness is a total game changer and so convenient! It truly takes the guesswork out of keeping up with a growing kiddo. I also appreciate that all important placement and safety information is printed right on the car seat itself for quick reference.
I don't love that the release button for the harness is kind of hidden under the seat but this is a minor annoyance on an otherwise all around wonderful car seat.
We're looking forward to using this product for years to come and highly recommend it (especially for other tall caregivers)!
