Easy to install and grows with your child

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. One of my favorite features of this 3-in-1 car seat is the ability to grow with your child. This seat can be used for a baby as small as 4 pounds all the way up to a child weighing 100 pounds. It comes with two cup holders which are a must for snacks, cups, or toys. You have the options of using the LATCH system or your car’s seat belt. There are 6 different recline positions-4 of which can be used rear facing. There is a helpful level indicator for rear facing infants to let you know if the seat needs to be reclined more or less by age (0+ months or 3+ months). The extension panel is very easy to use to help give your child more leg room when rear facing so they can stay that way longer. The seat was easy to install using the indicators and I chose to use the car’s seat belt but also tried out the lower anchor system which stores away conveniently and I had no issues either way. My 4.5 month old baby seemed to like this seat better than her infant seat because it has multiple cushions that can be removed or added for comfort and she can see around her more than in the infant seat. Overall this is a great seat and I would recommend it. My only suggestion would be a cushion around the harness part that goes between the legs to make it more comfortable.

Great Car Seat!

Overall I was super impressed with just how versatile this car seat really is – I can use it rear facing for my 21 month old all the way up to front facing for my 7 year old! The fact that I can use it in three modes (rear facing, front facing harness, front facing high back booster) is definitely my favorite feature of this car seat.
As soon as I got the seat out the box, it was clear about some of the main features as it had information attached to the seat – this was very helpful. The only part of the seat that I was required to put together were the cup holders, which easily slotted into position. My kids love the cupholders and are their favorite thing about the seat. The installation of the car seat was fairly straight forward however the EZ Tight Latch took a little getting used to and was hard to get the seat good and tight but I eventually managed it. The seat is not bulky so it easily sits alongside my two other car seats across the middle row of my van but it still provides all the safety features I look for. The seat is easy to recline which allowed me to make quick work for getting it ready and positioned rear facing. I love the fact that with the extendable foot rest, it would allow my child to stay rear facing longer. This is the first car seat that I have seen that has this feature which is great. In the forward facing position, I loved how easy it was to raise the seat back/seat belt height, which is great when different kids sit in the seat, as it keeps them as safe as possible. The seat is very comfortable, even without the additional cushion, which is great for those longer journeys.

My Ideal Convertible Carseat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carseat is the best knees guys. Seriously. I have two kiddos, aged 2 1/2 years and 7 months who ride side by side in rear facing convertible carseats in the middle row of a 2006 Honda Pilot. My favorite thing about this carseat has to be how incredibly easy it is to install. The latch system is super easy, but I was really pleased by how simple a seat belt install was since we can only install one of the two seats via latch at a time.
If you've looked at the pictures, then you can see that it's really gorgeous. The quilted fabric makes it look luxe and my toddler said that it's "really, really comfortable Mommy." My baby fit in nicely and it was really easy to switch between the two kids but the toddler has laid claim to this seat as hers.
The extendable panel for extra legroom is great. It will especially make for better long drives to the beach this summer and I'm really pleased at how long I'll be able to keep my kids rear facing and as safe as possible. The other thing that I LOVE is how easy it is to adjust the straps.
As for cons...I honestly haven't come up with any. This is really an ideal seat for our current needs.
When asked what she liked best about the carseat, my toddler said "It makes my butt really comfy." So there you have it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat. (And for providing my kid with a comfy seat!)

Easy Install!

This car seat is extremely easy to install with the latch system! It’s also easy to remove if you have to transfer to another vehicle. The latches and the system to tighten the strap are simple to use and to tighten. The car seat seems very comfortable with a decent amount of padding. I installed it rear facing for my 1 year old and he loved it when I put him in. The extending panel I can take or leave. With the angle of my seats it didn’t seem to really help extend the length of the seat. It also sits lower than the seat cushion which I guess it makes it a foot rest. Seems unnecessary in my situation. The car seat is a bit heavy and takes up a lot of space in my compact car so I wouldn’t be able to move my front seat back, but that seems to be the case with most car seats in my compact car. The cover seems like it will be easy to remove for washing which I find to be an awesome benefit with messy kids. Overall I think it’s a great car seat and seems like it would be safe in an accident which is the most important aspect.

Easy Easy Easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took notes for the past week or so while installing and using the Graco Extend2fit Platinum car seat and the word I see over and over is EASY! We have been devoted to a different brand with our older kiddos and didn't know what we were missing out on. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this seat in exchange for our honest review, now we know!
The EZ tight latch is very convenient. I've broken nails trying to pull a latch belt tight. With the EZ tight, there is no pulling. You do however, need to put a lot of weight on the seat in order to get the latch tight. This is the reason for a 1 star reduction in my rating. I needed my husband to put all of his weight onto the seat, multiple times in order for it to get tight. This could be problematic if you don't have that kind of weight/strength or someone else to assist.
Adjusting the seat for your specific vehicle and child is a breeze. The height adjustment release is simple and glides easily into the correct position. The recline levers are very easily accessible in order to get the seat in the correct recline based on child's age. The chest strap release lever is easy to lift and the straps release smoothly.
Although it's a large seat, it fits in the rear facing position along with two other rear facing car seats in our mini van. This is important to me since we like to keep our kiddos rear facing as long as possible. I was thrilled to see the extendable panel for extra leg room! We look forward to using this feature when our youngest is at that stage. He is a large baby (19lbs at 5 months) and this seat is very comfortable for him. It is roomy and he doesn't fuss once he's buckled.
My favorite feature at this stage is the easily removable seat pad for washing. We are in a phase of blow-outs and I don't need to take apart the entire seat to clean the soiled area! My least favorite feature is the level indicator. It is only visible from one side of the car seat. This is inconvenient if you have multiple seats in the car and can't access the indicator easily.
Overall, this is a wonderful seat and I highly recommend it.

Best car seat EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of three (ages 1, 4, and 7), I’ve used my fair share of car seats. This is by far the best one I’ve ever owned. I love that this car seat can be used by any of my three kids - rear facing, facing in a harness, forward facing as a booster. Perhaps my favorite thing about it is how easily it is to install!! Installing car seats can feel like an Olympic sport, but not with this one. The latch system is SO quick and easy. The new latch system clicks right in, then is easily tightened for a snug fit. The headrest is adjustable with one hand and requires no rethreading. I have not used it rear-facing yet, but I like how there is an extension to provide extra legroom. My four-year-old is currently using it, and he calls it his “fancy seat.” His favorite feature is the dual cup holders - one for a drink and the other for his “treasures” (I.e. toys and rocks). He also says it is very comfortable. So far absolutely no complaints about this car seat. I was lucky enough to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

Useful at all ages and stages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great car seat. Very easy to install and very comfortable at different ages. We have a four month old, 18m, and almost 4 year old. We could use this seat for all 3 stages. That is definitely my favorite feature that it’s great for any age. I choose to install it for my 18m old. She is rear facing and it was super easy to install. It also fit well with two other car seats in our second row. It’s wonderful we can extend the leg room for her as she grows. I really believe she is super comfortable in the seat. Before i had installed it in my car she kept wanting to sit in the seat. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.

Awesome All In One Extended Rear-Facing Seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Graco 3-in-1 carseat for free as a member of the Stellar Product Testing panel. As a mother of 3, I have owned a lot of carseats over the past 5 years! This one is quality. From the moment I removed it from the box I could tell it was well-made. The fabrics are very high-quality and easily removeable for cleaning. It also has plenty of cushioning to keep your little one comfy from newborn to toddler and beyond. I prefer using an infant seat for the first year, but will use this convertible seat in our secondary vehicle so I don’t have to move anything back and forth.
This seat is unique because it has an “extended leg room” feature offering your child 5” of extra legroom when rear-facing. This is great since the biggest deterrent to keeping my kids rear-facing has been their legs scrunching up and being uncomfortable!
Installation was very easy. My husband liked the fact that it has an automatic tightener to make sure the belts are secure.
Also love the fact that it has two built-in drink holders. The first carseat I ever purchased didn’t have any and I had to buy some to add on later since my kids constantly want drinks or snacks in the car!
Overall, I would give this seat five stars.
