Exactly what we expected. Functional, fully put together when it arrived (except cup holders that click in). Only thing we don't love is how our son's head falls a bit forward if he's sleeping when he's in the 3+ month mode.

New favorite seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were in the market for a high back booster and this seat blew us away! Any seat that works for all three of my kids is a major plus and this seat does just that! This seat goes from rear facing (with the extender for an extra 5” of legroom for extended rear facing) to forward facing to high back booster. It grows with your child!! The super easy install is a must for me and this seat has that covered. The EZ Tight™ LATCH made tightening the seat into place a piece of cake. I was able to easily install this seat in my third row thanks to this feature. The plush quilted design gives the feel of a more expensive and luxurious seat. We all know kids are messy so the machine washable RapidRemove™ cover that can be removed without uninstalling the seat is a game changer!

I love this car seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat. I was absolutely thrilled when I found out I was going to test the Extend2Fit® Platinum 3-in-1 Car Seat. I was about to start looking around, because I needed to upgrade my childs car seat into a bigger childs seat. One big plus of this car seat was that I could continue to keep my child rear facing and especially as long as possible. Another thing I was super happy about was that the seat actually reclines as well. So for those times that my child falls asleep I don't have to worry about his head slumping forward, because I can just lean it back a few clicks. The only downside to that though is that the button is very hard to push. I had to ask my husband to do it for me. Installation was a breeze and very easy to put in my van. My child loves having cup holders. He uses one for his cup and the other for his toys. Everyone is happy. I really love this car seat. Everything about it is a plus. I also like that I'll be able to use this car seat for a very long time since it will eventually turn into a booster seat.

Nice car seat but would not use for newborn

I love the extra space for leg room and feel that the seat is more comfortable. My son looks to have more support under his legs which makes for a more comfortable ride. It was easy to put together and get into the car. The few things I didn’t like about it was that the extra strap to make it more secure was not long enough so I could not use it. It did not come out like the instructions portrayed it did. I also would not use for my newborn because I would have to pull my newborn in and out each time. Because I live in an area with cold winters I would like the car seats that allow you to remove the seat and be put into a base. So overall this was perfect for a little older infant/toddler but not preferred for a newborn.

Easiest installation ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down my favorite thing about this car seat is the EZ Tight™ LATCH system. No more having to pull on the strap to secure the car seat, you can just click a button and the strap tightens on its own. Click another button and it in-tightens automatically. If you are one having to take car seats in and out a lot just this feature makes this car seat a breeze to install. I consider that a win. The downside for me was I could not figure out how the expandable panel would work in my car, there was not enough space to actually expand it. Other then that the fabric is very soft and high quality with lots of padding. My little one enjoys the car rides and falls asleep often in this seat. Having the option when he is bigger to continue using this same seat for a forward facing then booster is worth the cost as I will not have to purchase multiple seats. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.

A great seat that will last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this convertible car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My favorite features were the easy to remove cover (essential for a child with motion sickness), the easy to adjust harness and the fact that the car seat can be used in different stages as he grows, which make it a great investment. The install was pretty easy but I wish it had the integrated belt lock-off for easier seat belt installation like my other Graco seat, that feature makes me feel more confident in the install and safer overall. The extendable panel makes rear-facing easier for bigger children but I was not able to install the seat with the panel extended without the back of the seat touching my front seats in my mid-size SUV so I was only able to install it rear-facing without that panel extended, which was kind of disappointing. My 3-year old said the seat was comfortable and his favorite feature was the cup holders. I had bought another convertible car seat in the past that did not have cup holders and as my children aged I found out how inconvenient that can be. Overall I would recommend this car seat. It definitely feels safe and has most of the bells and whistles I would look for and Graco is a great trustworthy brand.

Functional, practical, yet stylish and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this amazing convertible 3-in-1 carseat! We could not wait to use this seat. At first glance this carseat is gorgeous and looks very comfortable. It wasnt too heavy so moving between vehicles would be easy. The best part of this seat for us would be the easy-latch system. We frequently clean the inside of our vehicles and typically, moving carseats is a hassle and requires great strength to re-latch and tighten them down. With this easy-latch installation, it took me less than 3 minutes to have this seat installed and ready to go. We plan to rear-face for as long as possible and the extendable panel will allow us to keep our daughter comfortable and safe for much longer than the average carseat. The fabric is very soft and my daughter enjoyed her ride in the seat, which typically isn’t the case. When she spilled her juice, the fabric wiped clean in seconds, and no stains happened. In the event that the cover did need to be washed, this seat is equipped with an easily removable cover, which is great! The recline options are wonderful so that this seat can be used from infancy to toddler years. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet this seat was. Yes, I said quiet because some seats have very loud obnoxious styrofoam that is quite cumbersome with a wiggling/kicking/dancing toddler while driving.
Overall, I give this seat 10 stars. It’s functional, beautiful, and practical.
