Straps are too short

We have the 3-1 and the 4-1 car seat. The 3-1 is horrible. The straps are way too short so my 2 year old has no room to get his arms in in the straps. I have it pulled out to the max but this is a defect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I researched fairly extensively for a safe seat, and since the Extend2Fit extends the time my child can sit rear-facing I was won over to give it a chance despite some people's reviews that it was challenging to install and/or adjust the straps. Delightfully, I found it simple to install (yes, I did take the time to read the instructions) and very smooth and easy to adjust the straps. There is plenty of room for it in my Subaru. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Exactly what we expected. Functional, fully put together when it arrived (except cup holders that click in). Only thing we don't love is how our son's head falls a bit forward if he's sleeping when he's in the 3+ month mode.

New favorite seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were in the market for a high back booster and this seat blew us away! Any seat that works for all three of my kids is a major plus and this seat does just that! This seat goes from rear facing (with the extender for an extra 5” of legroom for extended rear facing) to forward facing to high back booster. It grows with your child!! The super easy install is a must for me and this seat has that covered. The EZ Tight™ LATCH made tightening the seat into place a piece of cake. I was able to easily install this seat in my third row thanks to this feature. The plush quilted design gives the feel of a more expensive and luxurious seat. We all know kids are messy so the machine washable RapidRemove™ cover that can be removed without uninstalling the seat is a game changer!

I was absolutely thrilled when I found out I was going to test the Extend2Fit® Platinum 3-in-1 Car Seat. I was about to start looking around, because I needed to upgrade my childs car seat into a bigger childs seat. One big plus of this car seat was that I could continue to keep my child rear facing and especially as long as possible. Another thing I was super happy about was that the seat actually reclines as well. So for those times that my child falls asleep I don't have to worry about his head slumping forward, because I can just lean it back a few clicks. The only downside to that though is that the button is very hard to push. I had to ask my husband to do it for me. Installation was a breeze and very easy to put in my van. My child loves having cup holders. He uses one for his cup and the other for his toys. Everyone is happy. I really love this car seat. Everything about it is a plus. I also like that I'll be able to use this car seat for a very long time since it will eventually turn into a booster seat.
