Great car seat and easy to install. Love the extra legroom options as well as ease of installation and use. The only drawback is that the straps are harder to tighten than they should be. Otherwise we’ve been happy and now own two of them. Love that we can keep kids rear facing up to 50# with this seat.

My daughter really enjoys all of the extra space this seat provides along with the dual cup holders for her toys/cups. I really appreciate the rear facing ability to go up to 50 lbs because my daughter is petite but tall(the leg extender is definitely a plus) and I would like to keep her rear facing as long as possible. I give this 4.5 instead of 5 stars simply because I wish the cover was easier to remove for washing and the cup holders were slightly larger to accomadate her different cup sizes.

Straps are too short

We have the 3-1 and the 4-1 car seat. The 3-1 is horrible. The straps are way too short so my 2 year old has no room to get his arms in in the straps. I have it pulled out to the max but this is a defect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I researched fairly extensively for a safe seat, and since the Extend2Fit extends the time my child can sit rear-facing I was won over to give it a chance despite some people's reviews that it was challenging to install and/or adjust the straps. Delightfully, I found it simple to install (yes, I did take the time to read the instructions) and very smooth and easy to adjust the straps. There is plenty of room for it in my Subaru. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!
