Works well for my 2 year old in rear facing mode. We don't yet need to use the extender panels. We were able to use the seat rear facing on some airline flights, although it's a large and heavy seat compared to some travel options. (We read reviews online that it doesn't work great forward facing in an airplane because the buckle is behind the kids' back.) We used the Britax Car Seat Travel Cart to lug it through the airport, which worked fine as long as we tightened up all the straps, and it was also awkward to carry onto the plane holding anything else. But it was worth it to bring our familiar seat and we needed it at the destination. We liked the option for extended rear facing. We haven't used the LATCH connectors; tightening the seat using a seat belt requires taking off the bottom forward edge of the seat cover.

This seat was incredibly easy to install. The tightening straps can be a little difficult initially but they’re getting easier as we use the seat. The cup holders are great for drinks and snacks. Our little guy is very comfortable! Would definitely recommend.

Great car seat and easy to install. Love the extra legroom options as well as ease of installation and use. The only drawback is that the straps are harder to tighten than they should be. Otherwise we’ve been happy and now own two of them. Love that we can keep kids rear facing up to 50# with this seat.

My daughter really enjoys all of the extra space this seat provides along with the dual cup holders for her toys/cups. I really appreciate the rear facing ability to go up to 50 lbs because my daughter is petite but tall(the leg extender is definitely a plus) and I would like to keep her rear facing as long as possible. I give this 4.5 instead of 5 stars simply because I wish the cover was easier to remove for washing and the cup holders were slightly larger to accomadate her different cup sizes.
