[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this car seat as it’s an affordable option for the heavier rear facing car seats but my toddler is on the larger side and there is absolutely no leg room. I bought this car seat specifically for the 50lb rear facing but the leg room is way too small for my 40lb 2 year old. I’ll end up having to forward face him anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this car seat!!! Not only is the color cute but the car seat is very comfy. My baby sleeps every time we have a long car ride. The adjustable seat position at the base comes in handy to prevent heads from bopping forward.

Excellent Rear Facing Capabilities

I have had this seat for a little while now and I love the excellent rear facing capabilities. The 50lb rear facing limit was what initially drew me into the product however, the more I use it (and try it out in different vehicles) the more I fall in love with it. It is very compact front to back rear facing even with the foot extension all the way out. I have a Chevrolet Cruze and it has been difficult finding a car seat that will rear face well in it and allow for my passenger seat to be used. Once I put the car seat in I was able to move my passenger seat back even further than before. My daughter loves the extension foot that gives her more leg room. She is able to stretch her legs and tells me it is very comfortable. The seat is also very easy to install and light (which I was surprised about). I highly recommend this seat to everyone! Especially those that wish to practice extended rear facing with their children or those that need a seat with a higher weight limit for their chunky babies!

Resistance in harness

When my child isn’t in the seat the harness cinches down with no issue. When he is in the seat you can’t just pull the tightening strap because it barely budges. My husband and myself could not get the harness tight enough to safely secure our child. We have to pull the straps from the back then use the tightening strap. Now I’m wondering what will happen when we turn him forward facing as we won’t have access to the back of the seat to be able to tighten it. I really wish this car seat would function like it says it does.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got this for my son and I love it already. I love that the harness is easily adjustable with the headrest and doesn't have to be rethreaded. Also love how easily adjustable the recline is. This seat is just super simple and it's great. The crotch buckle was kind of annoying to figure out how to move, but it didn't bother me much. I love the cup holders and how comfortable it is for him. He's also higher up and we can see him much better. It seems to stay cooler than our other seats. Overall I am thrilled with this seat and can't wait to also buy one for my daughter.

I have only had this a few weeks ,but we like it so far. It installs very tightly, I use a seat belt to install rear facing with extender fully out with a locking clip (old suv) . I have a 3yr old rear facing in it. Just to see i put my 6yr old in it, and he still fit rear facing too to give you an idea of the RF limits. Goes to 50p rear facing and the head rest has like 10 adjustments. The 3 and 6 yr old both fit FF with the harness and the booster fit well. ( the 3yr old to test the booster fit with a child of slimier size not to ride in) The Kid likes it, not being as scrunched but at 3 and 4 , understand they will still be scrunched some but not knees in the chest scrunched. Scrunched legs are NOT a safety factor. Keep rear facing as close to 4 or more as you can get. Its ok if their legs are scrunched as long as they fit in the limits of the seat.
cons.- Feels flimsy.

I love the DLX for my 4 YO but needed an extended rear facing for my 16 month old who is 34.5 inches. She likes this seat and it’s nice- not as easy to release strap as DLX but I will get used to it. Seems safe and the leg extension makes all the difference, (FYI) extension is probably a good idea for all kids 40% and above to stay in rear seat 2-3 years as recommended. My oldest is 3% for size and my youngest is 140%- it’s like we live in 2 different worlds- lol.

perfect fit

we have a special needs baby who needed a rear facing car seat, he has no neck control, this car seat provides the needed rear facing safety he requires. easy to attach with the latch belts. lighter than most bulky car seats, he loves the extra padding that cuddles his head.
