Just what baby needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this glider to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so thankful that I was! My baby loves to have motion when he is falling to sleep. The gliding motion is similar to the motion I give him when rocking him in my arms. The DuoGlider has 6 different speeds to offer my baby. If he is fussy, I can up the speed, and if he just needs a gentle glide, I can keep it on a lower speed level. The swing also vibrates to get the baby soothed for restful sleep! The gliding swing offers a variety of sounds to distract my baby. My favorite is the white noise, and if I need to get some work done, I turn the sound up to be a little louder so that it can drown out my sound. The hanging mobile can swivel out of the way smoothly when laying the baby down, or picking him back up. My most favorite feature of the DuoGlider is its ability to recline! With the click of one hand, I can lay my baby all the way flat, or sit him up at an angel so that he can see us and interact with his surroundings. Assembly was straight forward, and only took a few minutes to put together by myself! If you are looking for something that mimics the motion of your gliding rocking chair, this swing is for you!

Could be great with some changes

I have mixed feelings about this graco duoglider swing. First of all, it is not a typical swing. I would definitely consider it a glider. If you are looking for something that will give you a side to side swing motiong, this will not work for you. It has six speeds which we appreciate, but the highest setting is INTENSE with a baby inside of the swing.
I set it up myself, and it was a bit tricky. I had to redo a few parts because the directions were a little difficult to understand. The pictures could be bigger and more descriptive. It took me about an hour to put together. Again, it wasn't horrible to put together, but not the easiest either.
My favorite feature of this swing is how it reclines. We used to use another product for my first baby because she had horrible reflux, but that item has since been recalled.I appreciate that I can use this fully reclined or place my baby more upright if she needs it. It is super easy to change this setting, which I also appreciate!
Some things that bummed me out- the vibration setting can only be used with batteries. Secondly, I wish the music/sounds were louder. They are plenty loud if your home is completely quiet, but I would have loved to have had this option instead of a sound machine for when I am running the vacuum or my older child is playing. The sound also sounds a bit distorted.
Overall, I would give this a 5/10. I was hopeful that I could use this instead of my traditional swing, but I think we will keep both around.

The worst!

DO NOT WASTE MONEY this glider breaks the second you take it out of the box. I got it as a baby shower gift, and was so excited. It doesn’t work. It clicks as if something in the Moyer isn’t attached properly. It randomly turns off and blinks. It jams so you have to push it to get it to glide, it is NOT stable. Called and got the warranty replacement and the one they sent was WORSE than the first one. This product needs to be recalled and discontinued.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Swing for Most Natural Motions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco DuoGlider Gliding Swing was incredibly easy to set up and use. The product is well made and very comfortable for my little one to relax and snooze in. The gliding of this swing instantly puts my little one to sleep, but when she’s awake the mobile that hangs above wiggles just enough to completely capture her attention. The various gliding speeds are great, and I love that you can control the gliding speed power and the sound power separately (many products make you press a main power switch that will turn both things off). Transitioning between the seat and back down for the swing was very easy as well. We love that we can hangout for naps or sitting up to watch big brother run around while mom cleans up! One design flaw that I noticed is the power cord is on the same side as the buttons. So when we put it against our wall, the cord cannot lay flush against our wall.

Awesome choice for s newborn

We received this product a month or so ago. I love the fact you can choose different speeds although 6 is very fast. It also has a variety of choices for sounds like waves, or choices for music. Our baby was only a few months old when we first got this and he would fall asleep and stay asleep. He still uses it but more as a swing now. Yes a little to big and when he wakes up because his arms hit the side.
This glider can also vibrate along with the fact you can adjust the baby to either lay down , or situp.
While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own.

AMAZING! Graco deserves an award!

I'm pretty fortunate and I am able to bring my daughter to work with me for her first year, so I said hey, let buy another one for the office! I did. I came back to work last week 7/5/22 and it has been pretty smooth sailing. And then Wednesday came. It's always on the 13th isn't it. We started the day off at her 2 month check up, which meant 3 shots. Then, come the afternoon, we had some pretty bad storms come through. And wouldn't you know it, our office was struck by lightning. And now, the rocker is fried. So my life is getting challenging. Considering tying a string to it to be able to rock her from my office chair. Sad times in Suwanee, GA.

STAY AWAY

I bought this swing in November, had my baby in May and she was able to use this 1 time. They are aware there has been a motor issue with this swing however they continue to sell it. Now I am trying to find time and money to purchase a box that will fit this product to ship back. Save yourself the headache.

Noisy Motor Ruining Sleep for the Baby

I recently purchased the Graco DuoGlider stroller with high hopes of enjoying peaceful walks with my baby. However, my experience with this stroller has been far from satisfactory, primarily due to its noisy motor that disrupts my baby's sleep every time we use it.
First and foremost, the motor on this stroller emits an annoyingly loud sound that is enough to startle even a deep sleeper. It defeats the purpose of having a stroller that claims to be suitable for babies and toddlers when it ends up waking them up instead. I was under the impression that Graco, a reputed brand, would prioritize providing a smooth and quiet ride for infants, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case with the DuoGlider.
The noise is not only irritating but also highly inconvenient, especially during nap times or when I'm trying to soothe my baby to sleep while on the go. It's frustrating to have invested in a stroller that fails to deliver on its essential function of ensuring a peaceful and comfortable environment for the baby.
Moreover, attempts to mitigate the noise have proven futile. I have tried contacting Graco's customer support for assistance, but their response has been less than satisfactory. Their suggestions, such as lubricating the motor or tightening screws, did not provide any noticeable improvement. It's disheartening to receive unhelpful advice when all I want is a stroller that doesn't disturb my baby's sleep.
In terms of other features, the Graco DuoGlider does offer decent storage space and maneuverability, but these positives are overshadowed by the persistent noise issue. I find myself hesitant to use this stroller in public places, fearing the embarrassment and inconvenience caused by the loud motor.
In conclusion, the Graco DuoGlider has left me disappointed and dissatisfied. The persistent noise from the motor is disruptive to my baby's sleep and fails to deliver on the promise of a peaceful ride. I cannot recommend this stroller to anyone seeking a quiet and serene experience for their little one. Graco needs to address this flaw and provide a resolution for customers who have invested in their products but are left feeling frustrated and let down.
