Loved... AT FIRST

Absolutely loved this swing... when it was working. Our baby is just 3 weeks old and is already not working. Super disappointing for so many reason. This is fairly expensive to have only worked for 2 weeks. Would rave about this if it had not stopped working. Was absolutely perfect until it quit working properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Died so quickly!!

We bought this for our daughter and the motor died SO QUICK. we have it plugged in and batteries in it and still doesn’t work. So upset cause I thought it would be such a good product!

Very wobbly, clicking noises, doesn’t lay flat

I just purchased this yesterday. Took a really long time to put together but once we did, the actual seat/bassinet sways side to side if the speed goes over one and makes a clicking noise. We tried adjusting the handle to have the bassinet lay completely flat (which is why we purchased) and there isn’t still an incline. My baby seems to like it but I can’t put the speed over one or the unit will click loudly and wobble everywhere. I wish the mobile did something as well. All of the screws are tightened so I’m not sure what the problem is. Maybe I got a defective unit?

How to clean?

We (and our baby) enjoy the DuoGlider -- we have the Percy model. But -- but, but -- it is entirely unclear how to clean the bassinet cover. Sure, the 'inner pad' comes out. But we're talking about babies here, and the white padding around the top on ours has become discolored from food.
I figured that the bassinet cover must snap off (as with so many other Graco products), and I could just put it in the wash. Well, it doesn't. I searched underneath, and unscrewed all of the screws holding the cover in place -- and we still cannot figure out how to get the cover off. What the heck?????? If we had known that we could not clean this, we might not have bought the model to begin with. Does anyone have any suggestions????

Nice swing

We have the Graco DuoGlider Gliding swing in rascal and overall our daughter and us all like it. Putting it together took a minute to make sure everything was in the right spots and the inner padding comes out to clean but not sure about the exterior netting. We wish their was a way to adjust around the head some if possible becuase our poor daughters head just seems to swing around sometimes since she doesn't have full control of her neck yet. Overall we love it and are so happy our girl just falls alseep right away in it.

The One Baby Product That Does It All

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t purchased much for my fourth baby, so when I had the chance to review the Graco DuoGlider as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I jumped at the opportunity. This swing has been perfect for us, as I often need a safe and comfortable place to set my baby down. I love that I can move it around the house as it can either be plugged in or run on batteries. I truly think my baby prefers this forward/backward swing pattern (rather than side to side.) If you need one accessory to do it all, this swings/glides, vibrates, plays soothing music, is easily moved, and provides a seat at an angle to avoid spit up. I give it a 5 out of 5. Highly recommend.

Sleep Saver

My son suffers from bad GERD and this has helped him sleep and calm down his reflux episodes. The adjusting seat is easy to maneuver and is great that it turns into a bassinet if baby falls asleep. The customizable speeds, white noise, and music settings give you and your child the options to switch it up. I really recommend this product it has been a life and sleep saver for me.

Soothes our little one to sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this glider swing for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We just had our second child, so we already had a regular baby swing and a vibrating bouncer, so I wasn't sure how this product would be different. It turns out our baby hasn't liked the regular swing or bouncer, but has definitely been enjoying this glider swing! He likes to be rocked in a rocking chair, and the motion of this swing glider mimics that more closely than a regular swing (giving us a break!). We like the variety of settings; we start it out rocking on a higher level and once he falls asleep, turn it down. We also find the white noise setting helpful. to drown out our toddler running around the house.
Although I like the idea of the adjustable seat position since the baby shouldn't be inclined for naps, if you try to move it while the baby is sleeping it often startles him awake since it's quite loud when squeezing the handle. I also don't find any of the music settings to be soothing.
Overall, this product has worked out for us. I really like that it's a combination of multiple baby items and eliminates needing to buy separate pieces that take up space, and is fairly compact in size as well. Overall, I would recommend to new parents!
