[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this computer for almost a year and it has continued to work smoothly and hold up well. Only downside is lack of ports for some things but that's all laptops these days and is a small price to pay for how thin and lightweight this is, considering how rarely we need those ports. A hub was all we needed to fix it and is only pulled out when we need it. Still give this computer 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Linux version. All in all considering the keyboards I like it better than my MacBook. Great Linux integration and build quality is excellent. Nice form factor and thankfully the camera is now at the top of the screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original shipment did not include the complete order and the screen had to be reordered b/c the initial screen did not work properly. The reorder was then delayed due to the screen being on back order. Once all working parts were received, the laptop performance was satisfactory. I wouldn’t purchase this system again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: light and fast.
The bad: no numeric keypad option, so special characters cannot be entered using Alt-codes; iffy handling of external monitors so sometimes the second monitor cannot properly be used to recover from standby and external monitor is not automatically used when plugging into docking station so sign-on must be from opened laptop; recovery from standby is sometimes problematic, requiring multiple depressions of the power button which can only be reached by opening the laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XPS 13 is fast, light, and elegant. I've had no issues with anything beyond the lack of standard USB ports, which is easily fixed with USB c adapters (one of which is included)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a laptop that was small enough to cart around but also powerful enough to manage the tasks at hand. In addition to the laptop being reliable, I also needed great support. The laptop is exactly what I needed, performance, reliability and Dell's support has been out of this world. Having worked in corporate america all my life and having access to IT support, I want to make sure I could continue to have the small level of excellent support. That said, Dell was there immediately, assisting me with getting me up and running from day 1 and were also there, at all hours of the day, when I accidentally hit the wrong buttons or choose the wrong options.
All-in-all, I am totally satisfied with my dell purchase and their support. Now that I'm a full time consultant, I feel that I was able to replicate what I had while in corporate america - great equipment, support and peace of mind.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snappy little computer with a great keyboard. Much faster than the same speced Surface 3 laptop I just used for a few days.
The trackpad is a little small for my liking, however.
