Received both a new and replacement laptop with fit and finish problems - specifically the keyboard and track-pad having uneven keys and bulges, totally unbecoming of a 'premium' laptop, let alone one in its top configuration. Awaiting my second replacement to see if I will ask for a refund and take my business elsewhere.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XPS 13 has a nice touch screen. I love to type on the keyboard. It has a nice firm press. The keys are nice and big. The speakers are okay, but I prefer to use headphones whenever possible. The track pad is good, it also has nice firm press.
It comes with Windows Hello and fingerprint scanner. I must say that pushing the on button, which is the fingerprint scanner, is hard with your index finder. You have to use your thumb to turn it on.
The webcam is on the top, which is nice for Zoom conferences. Very lightweight and sturdy. I would recommend this laptop to others.
Was hoping for the best but have seen something so average

I've had the laptop for about 2 weeks now and it has been quite slow with clicking through the system settings. Furthermore, the computer has already frozen once, which is seriously disheartening. I thought this was meant to be one of the best in market for 2019 but so far, been very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had the Dell XPS 13 7390 for 2 to 3 weeks. The battery lasts me about 7 to 9 hours. It is fast, and OneDrive synched with my old computer well so that I did not need to do any prolonged back-ups or data transfers. It's impressive that the machine is smaller with the same screen size as my older Dell Inspiron 13 inch. I worry that I will need an adapter for USB connections, but doing well so far. I have not needed my USB mouse and function well with the touch pad. I have tried 2 other PC brands whose computers stopped working either as soon as the 1 year warrantee ended or a year or 2 after. I have a Dell Inspiron 13 inch which is still working after more than 4 years. My college Dell never died, it was just too slow to use after 6 years. I bought this computer through Dell because it shipped more quickly than brick and mortar electronics stores in the area. I think those are all the factors that influenced my decision and the highlights of using the computer since buying it. Good Luck!
The dell xps 13 (7390) should be a great computer. However, it falls short. Having received my unit less than two weeks ago, I'm already having to deal with a significant issue: the Killer AX1650 Wi-Fi card. A quick google search will reveal how poor of a computer part this card is. When I wake my computer from sleep the Wi-Fi refuses to connect to (and sometimes find) any networks. This is happening in areas (my home, work, etc.) where other devices are connecting without issue. There is a fix, restarting the computer, but that is unacceptable for a new device and incredibly inefficient!
I purchase it last week; from day one, output from speaker as well as input of mike is way much poorer than my 4 year old Microsoft surface. It is difficult (sometime impossible) to do video calls using computer audio
the dell xps 13 7390 is great for a thin an light pc with the 6 core i7 and 8gb ram you can do all your daily tasks and never slow down it can all so render videos great 2 all in all im very happy with my new dell xps 13 7390
