[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This XPS 13 is an excellent all-around laptop with a premium design, a gorgeous display, an impressive CPU performance and long-lasting battery life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fan is really really loud, even on the sleep mode. The touch board is really bad too. Sometimes the mouse icon moves to other places even if my finger stays at the same place. The speed is fast though.

We appreciate your feedback. We are sorry that you have encountered some concerns about your computer fan.
The XPS 13 7390 BIOS update for fan performance was included in revision 1.3.1 – however, there is a more recent BIOS that contains critical security updates that should be used in place. You can find it here. https://dell.to/2yymQtX
For the touchpad, Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three-finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate, and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to change these settings:
1. In the Search box, type main.cpl. 2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs. 3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab. 4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad. 5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer, there may not be a Gestures option). 6. Change the options as preferred. 7. Touch or click Save. 8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility. 9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window. 10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA. You can read the full article here - http://dell.to/2tqmS02.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great laptop for me and I might be considered a power user. I am coming from mostly using a desktop pc but wanted to consolidate my setup and be more portable. I was looking for a high end cpu ultrabook with capabilities to interface with high end peripherals. So for my current setup which is the 6 core xps hooked up at home with the razer core x chroma with a gtx 1070 powering an ultrawide monitor and it works nearly perfect. For gaming and graphics work this setup is great and for everything else it works perfectly even without the peripherals. When doing sustained work with many heavy apps open the cpu can get very hot though I have not found it throttling and I can't expect much more from 6 cores in this very slim chassis. I'm happy with my purchase and beleive it will last me several years at least
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent battery life, performance I expected, and a sleek design. Exactly what I expected. It's a shame I bought it just before Covid-19 so I can't take it to the coffee shop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More than able to keep up with all the programs and data/videostreaming needed for my MBA program. Extremely user friendly and fast.
