[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely pleased with this device. It is quick, quite, ultra-portable, and powerful. I have been delighted with this purchased and would recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, portable device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I debated between getting this or a MacBook Air and this is what I chose. I am soooo happy! It’s very light, easy to carry and use and I didn’t have to learn a new OS. My grandchildren, who all have Macs are very impressed. I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set-up was super easy, and I’m not a technical person. Laptop is so fast I’m not sure what do to with all the extra time I have now that I’m not waiting for my old laptop to process things. I really like the light weight, great for transporting around the house or around town!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great screen, great battery, very powerful overall. Bought this laptop as an upgrade to my last XPS, and generally stick to this line for my laptops as it's just the most quality/complete product overall. So in general, aside from the negative things I'm about to mention, literally everything else is 5 stars.
Now the stuff you care about most, the cons: - Speakers/microphone are bad. At its loudest volume it's not enough to hear with any amount of background noise. This is something I willingly compromise, especially because I'm gonna use headphones with a mic built in anyway, but worth noting. - By default, the laptop goes into a sort of deep sleep after a while that causes it to take around 10 seconds to wake up (after clicking the trackpad and the power button randomly until it works). It kinda spazzes, then the fans go to max speed for like one second, and it sounds like the computer is really stressed out. BUT this can probably be disabled in windows power settings (I personally haven't tried because I prefer it saves battery in deep sleep), and the laptop otherwise wakes up near instantly otherwise. - Only USB-C ports. But don't worry, Dell includes a USB-A converter dongle for free. - Built in graphics can't really handle any gaming, so be aware of that.
That's really all I could think of as far as things I dislike about the laptop.
I got the important stuff of the review out of the way, but if you want you can keep reading the really small stuff I like the most about this laptop: - Great trackpad, never spazzes out - Solid construction, never worried about it breaking and the inside keyboard/palm rest is rubber therefore never too cold/too hot. Super small bezels make it equal to the size of most 11" laptops. - Very good memory/storage, loads all apps super quick and is an important reason why it's always so snappy - Battery is beautiful. Can stream netflix at max brightness for three hours and you'll still be at around 50%. As a student, lasts me the whole day easily even without taking any conscious efforts to save power. Also, easily handles statistical software (SPSS, Matlab, R). - This version has HDR support, which = pretty colors - Lastly, this laptop does all the small things right (except speakers). Good Wifi chip, good memory, all the other things you would only otherwise notice if they were not good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife gave me the XPS 13 for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. I use it all the time for productivity, digital illustration, streaming videos, and browsing the web. If I were getting a laptop for gaming, I might spring for something with a better graphics card, but for my purposes, it was exactly what I wanted.
