I've been a Mac user for the last 10 years! I spend a lot of time on video conferences and always have get complains about the quality of the speakers regardless if I use the built-in speakers, headsets or my Bose 35. Also the windows search doesn't work as good as I used with my Mac
Out the box the laptop comes with dynamic brightness turned on. This isn't convenient for anyone doing creative work such as photo editing and scouring help articles did nothing but make me more confused. I got in contact with support and they suggested using the F2 BIOS menu on bootup and the option was there and now disabled. This issue should be a lot clearer on help forums but the support experience was extremely quick and helpful.
A very good computer overall, but still trying to work out certain things. I wish it was easier to link Microsoft and Google for school. Seems to be powerful and fast as well.
Form factor is outstanding. Only having USB-C style ports it seems forces you to use a dock if you need other peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse). But as a standalone laptop to carry around it's great.
There were two main reasons I got the XPS13. Lightweight efficient performance and good battery life. I did a lot of research and everywhere seemed to say that the battery life was about 13 hrs. It's actually only about 3 hours which is like a normal laptop and defeats the purpose of having a lightweight laptop in a way. I should have gone for my option 2 which definitely has better battery life.
