This Dell is basically the same model that I had from 5 years ago. It has SSD. However, it runs hot and loud when I turn it on. This is disconcerting.

Great laptop, but face ID is missing

I bought this laptop on November 2019. I really loved this laptop, but the thing is I have an iPad Pro which has the face ID. That's why I gave 4 stars. But overall, it's great laptop.

This is the second XPS I have had. The fan is noisy which is annoying. If this will fail down the road, I do not know at this time. The computer is fast and the tablet feature is very useful. My previous XPS had 32 GB RAM and was much faster. So far so good :-)

Small, light, fast, great battery life. Love it. Experiencing one quirk I've not investigated though. The brightness seems to change automatically as I'm surfing the web. I don't notice it while working on documents. Overall, a highly capable machine and good value.
