Very useful computer, but my wireless performance is not good. Multiple disconnections throughout the day, even after updating drivers. If they can fix this, it's a great computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall the performance was great but I was not impressed by the build quality.

There were some small but pretty obvious scratches on the product when I opened the package, which is something you do not want on a laptop that costs this much. I decided to give Dell customer support a message but that didn't work. In the end I was able to reach them through the phone and was offered a replacement machine or a discount. Other than the optical issue of the scratch I am happy with the product. The keyboard is nice to type on and the touchpad feels solid. Although it should be noted that the click sound is quite loud. In compensation to the volume, one has to say that the click feels tactile, and you actually know when you pressed it. Although I chose the 1080 panel, the display is still great and certainly does the job. Software wise, it's a pretty clean install of Windows 10 other than the regular McAfee. There is some Dell software on here too, but that isn't a bad thing because some of it is actually quite useful, which is appreciated. One last note, would be the speakers. They have detail at lower volumes, but certainly lack in volume when you try to turn them up. This could be attributed to the fact that they are pointed sideways. A few "nice-to-have"s are the fingerprint scanner, battery indicator and a headphone jack :)
This laptop has everything going for it! Nice small size, touch screen, lots of RAM and a huge hard drive! The next generation i7 processor is fantastic! I've been extremely pleased with the performance and convenience of this device! Great job Dell!
I have been using powerful machines at office, so wanted to replicate the same experience for personal laptop as well. Dell XPS ended up being a good choice. Familiarity of Windows OS coupled with best-in-class features makes up a premium product that is easy to carry around. Looks and feels great while working. No complaints. Just finding that the colour scheme is warmer and whites are yellowish. Trying to find out if this is Windows problem or screen.
This is with 10th gen I7--I've had it a week. Got to get used to no USB ports--bought a hub that connects to the smaller ports on the XPS 13 and ordered a Bluetooth mouse to use with it. Seems to start up a little slower than my 5 year old XPS 13. Keyboard has a good feel to it.
I was worried the laptop would feel too small/cramped, but I absolutely love it. The 4K screen is incredibly crisp - I feel like I don't have to print out documents anymore to review them. Although it does hurt battery life to some extent. If you're very mobile, I'd recommend getting the 1080p screen. Otherwise, everything about this laptop feels so refined. Great keyboard, touchpad. Great performance with the I7 processor (although I'm not doing anything too processor intensive). Love it!
The CPU fan works the majority of times and the keyboard gets hot. Migrated from a MacBook Pro and got disappointed. Needed a Windows-based system for my work
