I recently lashed out and picked up a XPS 13 with 4K screen, 16Ghz RAM and 512Ghz storage. Very happy with the little machine but with one minor issue with the charger cutting out after charging the battery. So instead of finding a full battery in the morning, I find the battery half discharges and the charger off. It is simple enough to unplug the power cord and re-attach it for the charger to start working again, but for such an otherwise beautiful machine, a bit annoying.
When I trying to run the program by Python, the cooling sound is extremely loud. I plan to ask for a new one, but the process may takes a long time, and I give up.
Great computer. We had one problem where the WIFI Network Adapter stopped working. One call to Dell support fixed it but the laptop was out of commission for a full day until I could call.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like this laptop. USB-C is the way to go. Wish the battery was a little bigger; in active usage, I get about 3 hours of use. Biggest pain has been the charger. Something about Dell's USB-C PD implementation makes it a little flakey when using 3rd party USB-C chargers. It gets worse when those chargers are plugged in through a USB-C hub/port replicator. Endless messages about sub-optimal chargers, and strange on-off-on-off charge behavior. After spending money on other 3rd-party chargers, ended up getting another Dell charger for travel. Shouldn't be this way.
So far so good. Has some decent features in a nice compact form factor. Core i5 works well for my basic needs. RAM could use a boost, but that can easily be remedied. Screen is nice and bright(when plugged in). Typing is nice on the keyboard.
Pretty great so far. My only problem is the bright front facing light when charging. I wish there was an option to turn this off. Other than this, the costumer service, setup, and simple usage have all contributed to how great this laptop is.
