Since unboxed the XPS 13 I found the trackpad is plagued with erratic movement and no gesture control and shockingly I spent 2 weeks trying to fix the issue and up till now the issue isn't fixed. Tracking the issue on the multiple forums and reddit it is clear that this is a common issue with Dell trackpads and it is due to lack of quality control and basic HW audits the case is reported all over the globe.
the sound of the fan is so freaking loud and it is constantly on. the sound really makes me headache.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought it a week ago and used it for less than 5 hrs. Laptop no longer chargers. Adaptor cable has lights on but does not charge and laptop does not recognize charging adapter.

We bought a new XPS Laptop and it took a month to fix all the repairs. It came with hard drive problems and failed screen. How can Dell sell a new Laptop with so many problems.
Poor quality of machine, which does not function form the very beginning.

The machine I purchased came with lots of problems in hardware and software. Had to seek help from the Technical Support Cell of Dell. The services of the Technical Support were good. My lap top had to be replaced. But overall experience of dealing with DELL machine not encouraging.
I am not happy with 2 things, this is a one week only xps 13 high end laptop, battery life is not more than 5 hours and battery usage in standby mode is also bit high. laptop fan noise kicks in even when doing word document
