A thousand dollar laptop shouldn't be falling apart two-and-a-half years later. The SSD has slowed way down, the battery is greatly depleted, several of the keys are broken, the grips on the bottom are falling out, the sound doesn't work, and now my mouse isn't working properly.
Automatically Synced my Documents, Picture and Desktop Folders to OneDrive

The laptop I was using, Dell Inspiron 13 7000, didn't automatically backup these folders to OneDrive. My new Dell XPS 13 7390 does. I was unaware of this and deleted files in OneDrive that were absolutely necessary. I was unable to create restore points even by disabling my anti-virus and following instructions on the Microsoft website. I had no choice but to reset my PC. I'm in the process of setting up my computer for the 2nd time. Also, I am unable to stop these folders from continuing to backup to One Drive, again despite following instructions. It's very frustrating and I need to find a way to get this done.
Purchased MS Office to be loaded with laptop. Software did not work out of the box, had to spend hours with MS to get resolved
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi.Thank you for bringing this to our notice. Sorry to hear that MS Office didn't work out of the box and the time spent in getting resolved. However, if you could reach out to us directly next time we should be able to resolve it faster. We have a dedicated 24/7 technical support team that can look into most of the issues and assist you accordingly. You could reach out to them when available by sending a direct message at https://dell.to/2XnMBVw or private message at https://dell.to/2XfeYF3 with the system Service Tag. I just received the laptop and was setting things up. I was unsure about the wireless mouse and contacted the chat. The person was patient with me as I am not techie. During the chat the computer just froze. I couldn't move anything. It was just frozen. I tried to hard shut down but the system was not allowing me to hard shut down. My son came over to see what was going on and too could not make the screen move and had a hard time hard shut down. I couldn't even press support button or anything. The next day I was trying to get in facebook and since it was the first time on this laptop I had to enter my password. I have soo many passwords and can't memorize it so I was looking in my book and the system froze again. Couldn't move anything. Nothing worked. Tried to hard shut down and same thing like the night before, I couldn't hard shut down. The on/off button just wouldn't work. My son again came over to assist and he too had a hard time. The next day same thing. The system just froze and can't do a thing. Is there a satisfaction guarantee? I would like to return this computer and get something else that works. We've always bought Dell products since the late 90's and was satisfied with our purchased. The last laptop was bought in 2018 which too I was not too happy that it crashed/blank screen and wouldn't work any longer. I think the warranty expired a few months earlier. Therefore I bought this one but am not happy with the performance.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Below I have provided steps to perform a hard reset if this should happen again. We also recommend running a hardware diagnostic test. I have provided the link below.
1. Power off the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. 2. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord, and remove the battery. Note: For Dell laptops that have a non-removable battery, see the Dell knowledge base article How to reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to recover your Dell XPS, Dell Latitude, or Dell Precision laptop. Note: For certain Dell Latitude laptops, we recommend you try and recover the laptop using the forced ePSA method. See the Dell knowledge base article How to Use Forced ePSA to Recover from POST or Boot Failure. 3. Disconnect all external devices or peripherals like USB drives, printer cables, and media cards (SD/xD). 4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power. 5. Connect the AC adapter or power cord and the battery. 6. Power on the laptop.
