Not as great as the difference in price (from the cheaper inspiron)

The XPS 13 is a good computer but the expectation is to have a machine that is much better than the equivalent inspiron. Not really the case. Weight, better. Speed, seems to be pretty much the same, size, smaller so better, screen better. Battery better. The disappointment is in the speakers and in the fact that there is no connection to USB, HDMI etc.... It doesn't fit? We needed to remove it to make it smaller, great, for the price though, you should at least give me a few connectors included instead of adding just one and let me buy the rest of a very high price. Again it's $400 more!!
Still sorting out. Customer support has been great, but disappointed with laptop straight out of the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The laptop started crashing as soon as it came out of the box. And there was no technical solution. Big disappointment

Hello Mushroompicker67,
Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the problem if you haven't already. ------>This article provides information, links, images, and videos for troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Crashes, Restarts, or Blue Screen errors: http://dell.to/2u98Cct.
Table of Contents: • What is a Blue Screen Error? • How to disable Automatic Restart • Troubleshooting Common Blue Screen Error Messages • Analyze Windows Blue Screen Stop Errors, using BlueScreenView (By Nirsoft) • Informational Videos
1. What Is a Blue Screen Error? When Windows encounters certain situations, it halts and the resulting diagnostic information is displayed in white text on a blue screen. The appearance of these errors is where the term "Blue Screen" (Crash Screen) has come from.
In a lot of instances, the screen only flashes up for a few seconds before re-booting. You can disable this process following the steps in Section 2 below, allowing further analysis of the error.
Blue Screen errors occur when:
• Windows detects an error it cannot recover from without losing data. • Windows detects that critical OS data has become corrupted. • Windows detects that hardware has failed in a non-recoverable fashion. • The text displayed can either be text-based (Figure 1) or graphical based as in Windows 8 and 10 (Figure 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. How to disable Automatic Restart Whenever a critical error is detected in Windows, your Windows PC restarts itself to prevent any further damage to your computer.
This is a safety measure integrated into Windows. In order to further analyze the STOP or blue screen error, we need to know the Error code and information associated with the error.
This information is displayed when you turn off Automatic Restart on System Failure.
Here are the steps to disable Automatic Restart on system failure in Windows 8 and 10 (applies to Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP)
A. In Windows 10 in the Taskbar search Box, and on the Start screen in Windows 8 (Start menu in 7, Vista, XP) type System. B. Click on the System link displayed. C. On the list of links in the left pane, click on Advanced System Settings D. Advanced System Settings E. Click on Settings in the Startup and Recovery section F. Startup and Recovery G. Untick the checkbox that says Automatically Restart H. Click on OK I. Click on Apply then OK
Next time your system crashes, instead of restarting, it will halt on a screen with an error code and some information associated with the error.
Note down this information so that you can troubleshoot the error.

When I was joining my online classes, I couldn't ever hear anything. It was the computer's fault, because the headphones work on other computers. Also, when I was play League of Legends, it kept on saying "not responding", even though it worked for the first few days.

why eliminate the regular features on the laptops, on 2020, the same thinks with Apple products , just to force you to buy more accessories .

Hello Anonymous,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with the microphone. Below I have provided steps to perform a hard reset if this should happen again. We also recommend running a hardware diagnostic test. I have provided the link below.
1. Power off the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. 2. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord, and remove the battery. Note: For Dell laptops that have a non-removable battery, see the Dell knowledge base article How to reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to recover your Dell XPS, Dell Latitude, or Dell Precision laptop. Note: For certain Dell Latitude laptops, we recommend you try and recover the laptop using the forced ePSA method. See the Dell knowledge base article How to Use Forced ePSA to Recover from POST or Boot Failure. 3. Disconnect all external devices or peripherals like USB drives, printer cables, and media cards (SD/xD). 4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power. 5. Connect the AC adapter or power cord and the battery. 6. Power on the laptop. Full Article: https://dell.to/3iIh4GY
