The new 10th gen i7 processor makes this pocket rocket fly. Awesome performance all around. My only slight issue is the rather tinny speaker, but otherwise highly recommended!
This computer has been terrible to deal with in the sense of constantly dropping wireless as well as blocking ability to use services like Chromecast. I regret purchasing this computer. Dell has made terrible choices with the XPS line for their customer base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad experience so far: first device failed in a number of ways (let's call that bad luck) and I got it replaced after investing some effort and time. The new machine runs smoother but doesn't feel like a 1600GBP laptop; more like an average one with high price (hence the score "Average -1"). The Chassis feels solid and awesome texture (main thing why I keep it) but it's too tight for cooling an i7 so I still regret that. Also not ideal for soft surfaces since the ventilation is underneath and gets covered easily. Finally, good connectivity tech and the keyboard feels great (not water resistant or anything) but the speakers are super basic.
Computer is great. But doesn't fully offer "premium" business experience.

I read that this computer comes with Windows 10 Pro, but after I set up the laptop, Windows was not activated. After running a troubleshooter, it activated windows, but as Windows Home. And I don't know how to get it to Pro. I can't remote desktop into this laptop. The laptop also strangely flexes, and doesn't return to it's normal shape. so sometimes it doesn't sit flushed on the table, with a wobble. And I have to "bend" it a little so it returns to a flat state. This is very poor on dell's build quality. Wifi also drops out everynow and then. Other than these quirks, the laptop is great. the keyboard, screen, camera placement and trackpad quality are all top notch.

My experience with the XPS 13 has been amazing. The screen is a beauty to look at and gets very bright (I almost always keep it on the lowest brightness). The keyboard is tactile and very responsive, it is very comfortable and enjoyable to type with. The trackpack is awesome too! It is not as big and responsive as the MacBook trackpads but is very accurate and has a lot of useful gestures. All in all a beautiful looking laptop that is powerful and perfect for me!
hi I ve bought that laptop for work hence not really doing much on it apart from excel spreadsheets and so far its not the greatest - crashed my excel a couple of times without me even noticing - only realized by excel is closed after I tried to get into one of the 7 spreasheets I had open :-) also its not as fast as SSD should be - opening excel files again takes some time and I did have to restart it once as it was soooo slow I just couldn't bare it. I hope its the user and not the laptop that is an issue - maybe if you guys check it for me there is a quick fix to it - eg making sure I m using office that's actually downloaded onto the local drive rather then from the net etc. appreciated --- I do love the weight and looks - could be easier to open to be fair some sort of ridge to help wedge the thumb --- and awesome that its USB C - I don't really use other features so cant really comment yet
