Excellent laptop - low weight, compact yet strong performance at a reasonable price. Chassis is solid (aluminum). Wish it had at least 1 USB 3.0 port (but a cheap adapter takes care of that). Quite satisfied with this unit and might purchase another.
But it's not registered by Dell and I've gone 5 days without being able to obtain support to get it up and running. Poor start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far in the 3 days I've had my XPS 7390 I've experienced several issues with laptop locking up and crashing. When trying to install software (TurboTax as an example) it took several attempts to finally install. Loading any apps takes way longer then it should. Outlook and Edge have crashed multiple times. Have had to hard reboot the laptop multiple times per day. So far I'm very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for a fast, light-weight laptop suitable for a career in data science and I chose this laptop and so far, I'm very happy with my choice. The battery life is amazing, it will work 17+ hours. I love its keyboard and touchpad and typing is such a nice experience with this keyboard. The screen resolution is great too! I haven't seen a drawback so far!
I’ve had it for about 3 weeks so far, and it’s been great. I’ve only used it for basic things for school like docs and zoom, but I haven’t gotten kicked out of zoom for stability issues once since getting this, and I used to get kicked out every meeting on my old laptop. I also love the anti glare screen and easy fingerprint login. Again, basic stuff, but so far so great.
