This lap top is great for the most part, I just have an issue with the touchpad. I'll be watching a video and without touching anything the laptop splutters paused and un-paused as if I was using an auto clicker. Sometimes the mouse even disappears. I also have noticed that scrolling with two fingers really confuses this computer. Though it's nothing I can't handle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second time I turned it on it froze and could ctrl alt del to restart. Not sure if there's a fault but other than that good so far.

I have just moved back from Mac to Windows and spend a lot of time researching a good laptop to rival my old MacBook Pro. The XPS 13 has really lived up to its reputation. Light, but extremely powerful and feels very well made. Keyboard is solid and screen resolution awesome. The overall Dell ordering process was easy and I am confident that I have made the right decision.

I was going to purchase a new laptop after attending a communications class. I was looking at buying another Inspirion, but could not find anything with the features I wanted locally. I went on line and found the XPS for a couple of hundred dollars more than the best Inspirion I could buy near me. Very glad I ordered direct online, what a huge difference. Waited a bit, spent a bit more, but I'm glad I did. Blazing fast, great screen, lightweight...
