I replaced a 8 yr old XPS12 with a i5, which was fantastic. So far the XPS has a better screen (UHD) but not sure how much better it is than the standard and if the price difference is worth it. Also on the specs for i7 it says up to 4.0 ghz but mine is only 1.5 or so. I have much more memory but can not detect any improvement in speed over the XPS12. I have the white version and when the backlight on the keyboard is on it makes it harder to see the characters because the light match the color of the keys. There is not any guides that explains the various function keys. Also it appears that many functions in the F1-F12 have lost their traditional use and it is not clear when the Fn key is needed.
My laptop has a USB-C connection and the keyboard and mouse Dell sent me has the old style USB port.

Nice computer, but does not take my flash drives and the keyboard lacks 10 key number pad. Anyone uses flash drives will need a docking station with this laptop.
This computer is not worth more than $200.00. It's unable to process simple tasks without buffering. Unable to connect to secondary sites due to lack of processing power. Do not purchase.
