Everything was great but I couldn't get the microphone to stop fading out when on calls. You sent me a new one that after a little work with the technician is working.
The laptop is wonderful for general use. Clear screen, lightweight, good battery life, speed, etc. However the headphone jack stopped working after a Dell update. It shows up in the windows sound system but is greyed out and can't be selected. No dialogue box appears when a headset is plugged in. The speakers just keep working. At first, a reboot seemed to fix it, but it hasn't worked in over a week now. Until I have time to call Dell about it, we are using a USB sound adapter to work around it.

My XPS arrived 2 days earlier than originally noted. Setup was extremely easy and so far, 2 weeks later, it is performing above my expectations. I only say this as my son has an Inspirion 15 that he uses for college and it is not quite as quick, however he does not have the processor I have and his RAM is half of this XPS.
My Dell mouse and keyboard seem to stick often and have a delay. Dell logi
