Super slow and not working as intended, but sure if I got a lemon. Webpages take forever to load, desktop keeps refreshing by itself (goes black and then resets), laptop is not currently stuck on “Restarting” for the last day. Will be calling to return.

Hello Lee,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing a slow performance issue. Below I have provided steps and a link that should resolve this issue.
Performance Troubleshooting: 1. Restart your computer regularly 2. Run the automated tools provided in the SupportAssist tool - Press and hold the Windows () key, and then press the q key. - In the search box type support assist. - Select SupportAssist (Trusted Microsoft Store app) in the list of results. Note: When SupportAssist does not show up in the search results, browse to the SupportAssist for PCs and tablets page for information about downloading and installing SupportAssist. - Touch or click Start Now to run all the tests. Note: You can touch or click the down arrow and then run the individual test, but for slow performance issues, we recommend running all the tests. - SupportAssist runs the tests one by one and provides the results. 3. Run a complete hardware diagnostic test - https://dell.to/37S183b 4. Scan your computer for malware 5. Restore your Dell computer using Windows System Restore 6. Reinstall Microsoft Windows Full article: https://dell.to/3n54NzM

Laptop works well. There are ONLY USB-C ports so be prepared to buy a docking station or new cords.

had to roll the BIOS back to stop the fan from almost constantly running. There must be some dissonance between a windows and the current bios

The sound does not work sometimes. I can not hear the music, or zoom calls well. It goes out sometimes. The screen also seems smaller than the one I had before. I called support services and a young man helped me by updating. It worked for awhile but afterwards it is low.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the audio. Below I have provided steps to perform a hard reset. We also recommend running a hardware diagnostic test. I have provided the link below.
Hard Reset: 1. Power off the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. 2. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord, and remove the battery. Note: For Dell laptops that have a non-removable battery, see the Dell knowledge base article How to reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to recover your Dell XPS, Dell Latitude, or Dell Precision laptop. Note: For certain Dell Latitude laptops, we recommend you try and recover the laptop using the forced ePSA method. See the Dell knowledge base article How to Use Forced ePSA to Recover from POST or Boot Failure. 3. Disconnect all external devices or peripherals like USB drives, printer cables, and media cards (SD/xD). 4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power. 5. Connect the AC adapter or power cord and the battery. 6. Power on the laptop. Full Article: https://dell.to/3iIh4GY
WiFi Did not work and a new WiFi card was recommended. When this happened right out of the box I researched problems and several were shown. I have always had a Dell Latitude. Still need a computer and do not know what to do

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with the wifi. Below I have provided steps and a link that should resolve this issue.
Wifi Troubleshooting: 1. Move the computer to within 3-9 feet (1-3 meters) of the router (if possible). Notes: - Moving the computer closer to the router will help eliminate sources of interference which may cause slow and intermittent connections, and make sure the wireless hardware is working correctly. - When your computer only connects correctly to the internet while the computer is close to the router, it means you are probably experiencing interference issues. For more information on what causes interference, refer to the Dell Knowledge Base article How to Identify and Reduce Wireless Signal Interference. 2. Touch or click the network icon, either in the taskbar or in the hidden icons area. Notes: - Both are located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. - Make sure to unplug any network (Ethernet) cable or undock before performing the steps, otherwise, the wireless icon may not appear correctly. - When you cannot find the wireless icon, reboot the computer. When it still does not show, download, and install the latest drivers. For more information, refer to the How to Download and Install the Latest Dell Wireless Network Adapter Driver section. Full article: https://dell.to/3mvy0mB
We recommend running a diagnostic test to resolve the audio and performance issues. Please see the link below. Diagnostic Test: https://dell.to/3123Eje
